That's part of the problem with Dudley. He didn't want to be here to simply play out his option year behind Giannis, Jabari and Middleton. We honored his desire to go to a place where he could get more PT and earn a bigger contract.

We miss Dudley badly but at the same time we've got to have those minutes free for our three young guys at SF/PF and take our lumps IMO.


Yet he's playing the least amount of minutes per game since 2008-09 and the Bucks have no backup SF (crazy in 2015 to not have a backup at that spot) and their backup PFs are JOB and Copeland (with the starter, of course, coming off a serious injury).

Dudley would be getting 25+ minutes on this team. We thought we had those minutes covered, Dudley thought we had those minutes covered, and it looked like Dudley would be out for a large portion of the season. Such weird decision-making by both parties.
