Could be they are more encouraged to take shots in Utah? Could be they didn't have a flowing offense, could be he had his number called, but more than likely just poopy coaching like we saw in Drew. That's my guess. Looking at this season

Utah Stats (per game)
49% shooting
13.8 points
7.8 rebounds
.5 assists

Okc Stats ( 5 games so far)
58% shooting
15.8 points
10.2 rebounds
2.2 assists

It's possible he just got better at all those things, or it's possible they found another way to use him, and have asked him to play differently.

So you're lecturing on schemes without even knowing what Utah run?

I'm suggesting that people make a lot of assumptions on a players capabilities without factoring in how they are being asked to play. Utah is bottom 3 in the entire league in assist, which leads me to believe it could be scheme.

Everyone here that lived through the Larry Drew era, knows how much a crappy scheme, or philosophy or whatever you want to call it can impact the way a player operates within it.

Yeah so you were taking shots at posters without knowing at all what you were talking about.

You're the guy making assumptions arguing against people who have actually watched the players they comment on.

Wasn't taking any shots directly at any posters, just raising the point. Turned out that Utah's scheme doesn't really share the ball very effectively, if I use assists as the indicator.

Make what you will of it.

He got a ton of early clock hand offs from the high post in Utah, he had more passing opportunity than most bigs in the league, the coach encourages ball movement and pretty much everyone other than Burke and Kanter bought in. The only thing stopping Kanter passing in Utah was Kanter which is probably a big reason why he's not on the team anymore. The other ball stopper Burke got benched in favor of a PG who is scared of his own shadow. Joe Ingles is another starter purely because he moves the ball.

I think it's schemes though. Utah has been doing this for years. Take Al Jefferson for instance. He's such a selfless player now for Charlotte.

Not sure if being defended by Speights or prime Wilt.

I would love to have Skiles on the commentary team to call the matchup of Speights and Lopez.

Worlds colliding- Nets commentators talking about actual Wilt in a game that Bucks board Wilt is playing in.

I was watching the replay assuming there was something before it, but nope nothing there. He must just be over excited with all the FGAs.

When was the last time Bogut had 20/10 fellow homers. I'm guessing you'll know this off the top of your head stellation.

I can't recall, but he's probably not going to get there tonight in the end with foul trouble.
