I think the thinking is that he wouldn't play at all with OJ and Dudley coming back.

Probably the case, but unfortunately both Mayo and Dudley look soooooo rusty right now. Hopefully, they're mende up enough and game situations allow them enough time to get back up to speed before the playoffs.

Given the injury history of Mayo/Dudley this season, I think we should have signed him. I would put money on it that at least one of those two players misses a couple games in the last 10 games plus a first round series. Hopefully they are well rested, but given the way we have treated these short term injuries, having both guys come back early, I'm not counting on it.

Dude shot 27.8% from 3 here and all he does is shoot threes, plus his on/off was brutal so why would you want to keep him?

This.

I was kind of liking CJ his first few games but that appeared to be a honeymoon. He certainly tries really hard, but he was really bad after his 3rd game, iirc. No reason to keep him around.

it's tough to find the 15th player for a team.

No doubt.

He was like Jorge, in that he hit those first couple shots in the first game or two and you think you might have something. Then you realize why said player was in the D-League in the first place.

How dare you insult Jorge by even mentioning him in the same breathe, this team was headed for the 4th seed and a first round win before we cut Jorge and destroyed our team chemistry

This is pretty much spot on. There was 2-3 games where he was really really solid and I thought he'd be a keeper. Then he couldn't hit a three to save himself. Which made him pretty useless. The fact he got bounced around from philly to Boston etc..should prevent these thoughts from creeping in.

Yeah I had no idea until I seen he had signed for the season with Utah, had to double check there wasn't another Chris Johnson in the league.
