Re: time to change our slogan
In all seriousness, how about just "Forward!"? Gives you that Wisconsin whole state tie in they're after, but also is a strong statement for both the on and off court direction of the team. I like the idea of looping in with the state motto, if you market successfully to make the connection between Bucks and Forward then you can leverage a little as well on referencing some marketing with Wisconsin and Forward.
If they're uncomfortable with the single word/direct rip they could possibly go with "Forward, Always"- it gives the positive statement/WI connection with Forward but also identifies permanence of the Bucks in Wisconsin (historically and into the future) as well as the future direction of the organisation to always strive to move forward. Both words work individually to convey a positive message as well ("Bucks- Forward!"/"Bucks- Always") and you could then utilise the primary words from that slogan with some secondary words- so "Forward, Together" (state reference/inclusion as well as teamwork) or "Effort, Always".

If there's anything worse than stupid team mottos, it's stupid state mottos.
