I haven’t seen it announced anywhere, but this year’s NBA trade deadline should be February 18th at 3:00 P.M.

http://espn.go.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/13425802/nba-why-2015-16-nba-schedule-improvement-years-past

Strength of schedule standings

Research has shown that different scheduling circumstances have varying effects on a game's probable outcome. You get a boost from having a day off, less of one if you've had two or more, and it's always nice to play at home. Teams on road trips suffer, especially when games cluster together, though when road teams are rested, they fare better. When you add up all of these effects from every game for every team, the overall spread is minor. The Bucks have the fewest of these "schedule points" with 78, while the Hornets have the most at 93.

While from this standpoint that gives Charlotte the friendliest schedule, in reality the 15-point spread from worst to first translates to about a half-win over a full season. In other words, the NBA's schedule-makers are doing a very good job of making sure that things even out for everyone at the bottom line. We'll lead off with the results of the "schedule points" exercise, along with some other key measurements.

so we have the toughest schedule in terms of back to backs, days rest etc

Do we have a rivalry with the Knicks that dates back to the 70s or 80s that I don't know about? Or is it just because our owners are Knicks fans? If we were to have a rivalry with a team in New York, wouldn't it be more logical for it to be with Brooklyn?

We've never really had a rivalry with the Knicks to my knowledge. The Jabbar Bucks were before my time, but I think back then we were in the Western Conference and it was the Lakers then.

I can't even think of when we've ever faced them in the playoffs. I'm not sure we've ever played the Knicks in the playoff historically---ever.

There at least is some tension that exists when we play Brooklyn, or there was last season anyway. Anytime we play the Knicks it's just like lolMelo.

Giannis and Melo have some history with each other. Too bad we won't see that Opening Night.

Ewing always played at a high level against us, especially after Andrew Lang broke his wrist

One big game I am excited for is 12/18/15 when the Bucks play GS in Oakland. I am going to 3 NBA games when I am in California, GS vs Bucks, LAC vs Pacers and LAL vs OKC. I hope the Bucks put on a show there, since I will probably be one of the few fans there rooting for the Bucks.
