He's an off guard out there making plays, good and bad.

That Suns team is designed to destroy those terrible teams (Nuggets, Lakers, Portland, hurt Clippers team, etc), but get smoked against any semblance of real basketball. Some really fun pick up basketball.

Sixers board is so damn salty about Wiggins lmao. Pretty amusing reading their posts from his slow start in the 1st half to him taking over in the 4th.

I honestly have a hard time believing even Utah was that excited when they took him.

Ghosts of drafts past: Jeremy Lamb would really be helping our team this season.

What happened to Noel? He must really need to be playing center, he has even looked bad defensively this year. I'm not even going to talk about his offense

He's a dunk/rim protector playing away from the rim. It'd be like squeezing Henson at power forward.

For sure, but I still would expect him to be good on defense. Wouldn't surprise me if he is not happy about his situation in Philly (how could you be), just looks lethargic.

Hinkie should try to trade Noel and the Lakers pick to the Lakers for Russell. Universe might explode though.

They got to trade someone at some point, their 3 prospects all play center

I don't think Noel is fully healthy, that might explain some of the lack of intensity.

The fit is just bad though, don't know why they thought they could get away with playing a glorified garbage man with zero offensive game at PF in a league filled with super skilled forwards like Draymond and Love. Defensively it's a bad fit as well. And I don't see how it gets better if Embiid is healthy, offensively you have similar problems but even worse problems defensively considering you really don't want Embiid with those foot problems sliding to PF chasing around forwards like Noel can.

They honestly might have to trade 2 of the 3.

Or simply trade Okafor to LA for Russell.

I think Okafor and Noel can co-exist. I'd put combine Saric/Embiid and one of their later 1sts and see what a team offers at PG/SG/SF.

Either way, they suck now but with two high picks coming, and those two to trade, they can shift it in a hurry.

I'd keep Okafor over Noel, and I wouldn't think twice about it.

Noel and Okafor can't be your starting 4/5, that's a horrid combo defensively and Noel has absolutely no offensive game to stretch the floor.

If they're smart, they'd trade Noel & Embiid in the offseason for whatever value they can get, then slide Saric in at PF next to Okafor. Then use their lottery pick to draft the best wing or guard available. But it's the Sixers, so it's not like doing the "smart thing" is a guarantee or even the likely outcome.

The problem with playing Noel at the 4 and Okafor at the 5 is that it negates the defensive advantage that Noel brings to the floor. Which let's be honest, you're not bringing him in for what he brings offensively. I don't think you want Noel ranging out trying to cover stretch 4's, I think you want him parked in the paint.

Why would you have to move Noel out of the paint?

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
