Giannis is back to beginning of season Giannis. Love it. And Khash money. Got to love him. Monroe has to go still. Can't even play him at the end of the game cause you can't trust he will rotate on D like he should or recover on D cause he can't. A few more 3 and D shooters off the bench, improved Giannis and Jabari jumpers, and we are ready to go.

I hope Giannis gets a light load tomorrow, maybe even a day off. Dude has to be gassed.

Michael CW will be a decent 6th man next season for us if he isn't traded.
The case will be there that Henson is our best starter though he won't get the nod.

Prunty hitting on Giannis needing to learn to play through fouls. Didn't see the whole game, just the end of the 4th and overtime, wasn't aware of his foul count. But that's something that Kidd should've been doing when he was running things. Playing Giannis through them.

Giannis has something different going on based on two points:
1) Up until the Bulls game he never had a great game in a win. Now he's led the team to victory twice in a week.
2) Up until the Bulls game he only had great games when starting hot. Now he's had two strong games where he started out bad and actually found the confidence to get back in the game and dominate.

he is amazing
play him like paul pressey. he needs to play point forward with two shooting gaurds imo. takes the load of the ballhandling playing against a bigger guy and surrounds him with shooters.
that's how he could work imo. get another small shooter who can run next to middleton and force other teams to match a bigger guy on him. put Giannis at the 4.
its completely not worth the trouble but I think that's how id use him if he has to start.

he stopped taking jumpers and stuck to his strengths / letting the game come to him like I said he should of done..

If Giannis keeps this up for the rest of the month and the first couple weeks of February, I could see him getting snubbed for an all star spot.

Re: PG Thread (Atlanta) - Josh Smith > Hawks
Out of our starting 5 (Giannis, Parker, Monroe, Middleton, and MCW) only Monroe was negative at -8.
Henson led the team at +16. Literally 24 points better with Hanson than with Monroe.
Monroe was 4/16 (15 pts) from point blank with each of those misses essentially resulting in an empty possession.
Henson was 3/6 (10 pts) on the night. Less of a ball hog, more efficient w/ the hook shot, offers a tremendous defensive presence, and is athletic enough to run with our team in transition.
Other than their contracts, what qualifies Monroe to start over Henson??

Start Henson, bench Monroe if they are serious about winning games
