They have basically no developing talent whatsoever on their roster, and what they have is extremely underwhelming. Basically the only "young talent" in Memphis that has any value as an asset is Jordan Adams, and that's mostly because his name contains the word "Jordan" (and because he once scored fourteen once I think).

They would have to trade Courtney Lee to get any kind of C replacement for Gasol. Or they could just play Hollins for twenty minutes per game. Waiving Russ Smith to sign that guy is starting to look like a really smart move.
