I was skeptical about Jabari and understood a lot of the arguments for trading him. But it's hilarious to see people moving the goalposts every time he makes progress on his perceived flaws

I've always been open to trading him, I just need a return that trumps what he can do to open up the game for Giannis and to me it would take a great deal especially given that we likely have Jabari under control for a long time. Given that we need to ride out the last coulple of years of contract **** ups it would have to be for another young stud like Porzingis which obviously NY wouldn't do.

He's getting more comfortable with the ball in his hands and his vision is starting to bubble to the surface. I'm excited.

Yep. His play making skills do seem to be bubbling to the surface. I also like that his steal game seems to be improving. I don't think he will ever be a great defender but if he can get more steals that lead to easy transition opportunities like he has done recently, that can help cover up his defensive deficiencies a great deal. And finally a game where he purely settles for catch and shoot threes. He was passing up so many early in the year and then driving into traffic and tossing up tougher shots. And then he kept talking about how the three was not a big part of his game. Yes it is buddy. Glad to see him realize it and take the coaching he must be getting to heart. I'd ultimately love to see him get up to Carmelo's level of three point attempts of 5-6 per game which he seems to be trending towards.

Pretty cool that through 13 games this year he's hit more 3s than in his first two seasons (101 gms) combined.

In 7 games, Curry is 13 of 62 for 21%.
In the 7 other games, he is 43 of 75 for 57.3%.

I think what we are seeing, other than the Miami game, when he is hitting them, his attempts per game go way up. The first 7 games he attempt 1 3PA 5 times. If you take out the Indy game, he went 1/6 over that span.

The last 6 games, his attempts are way up. He is 10/26 over that span.

Whether that means he is just being confident in it or if it is gameplan design I don't know. Shouldn't be too surprising with more reps, we are seeing more consistency.

FWIW I expect him to settle in the 34-36 percent range on the season which is reason enough for optimism.

Eric Nehm said in the brewhoop pod today that Jabari said he finally decided to just fire away with out caring about misses. Which is great news

Well there you have it. I still think Kidd is the root cause of all these guys second guessing themselves

This is what im expecting as well. And if he can make them around 34-36% while taking about 200 attempts this season I think that would be a huge step forward for his game. His 3pt % has gone up 13% from last year as of right now. Another great sign with his jumper is the 16ft<3, that is up 12% from the previous 2 years. His long range jumper has really shown a ton of improvement from his first two years. Honestly I dont know how you stop him if he becomes a legit 38-40% 3pt shooter. Size, Strength, Athleticism, Handles and a jumper.
