This dude clearly has NBA tools.

not sure how accurate but- Papagiannis is now a 18 year old high school senior. He is currently 7'2" tall, weighs 275 pounds, and has a 7'6" wingspan. Thats Boban sized

Papagiannis plays for the team I support in Greece (Panathinaikos) and I have seen him playing many times. He debuted in the first greek league when he was 14 ! He turned down 17 US College scholarships (some of the best colleges) offers to play first team basketball with Panathinaikos (and of course getting paid :) )

This year he was the 3rd Center in the team and just played 11,5 mnt per game. He averaged 6.4 pts (with a 68% FG, since he pretty much dunked all of them)

The biggest advantage is of course his body and that he is 18. Despite his size he is very agile and has a good leap. He has a good mid range jump shot and is a good rim protector. However he is far from NBA ready, his stamina sucks and he needs to work on his body a lot, needs to improve defense.
I am sure that if he is willing (= works his a** off) he would be great asset in the future, and I would love to see him playing for the Bucks. At this point Poetl is by far more ready, but George is 2,5 years younger than him. If we don't draft Poetls and could get Papagiannis as a 2nd round it would be a great signing.

Doesn't sound like he needs to be stashed so much as he needs to get in an NBA training program. Conundrum!

I doubt Papa lasts to the 2nd round, will be interesting to see where he ends up mocked, but probably higher than 27th where Gobert went

DX has Cordinier and Brogdon in our two 2nds. Would be a very interesting outcome for us. I think Cordinier really wants to come over, but I'd like to see him move up to Pro A for a year or two.

There are suddenly a lot of decent options in the 2nd. Dorian Finney-Smith, Zipser, Maker, Trimble, McCaw, etc. Will be interesting to see these guys scrap for spots. I've said before that this draft is short on talent, but long on guys who conform with league trends. Zipser, Finney-Smith, Brogdon will never be stars, for example, but they are pretty well rounded, ego-less players. Lots of guys who pass the Spurs test.

I don't think DX has a very high opinion of him. They'll probably have him available for us in the 2nd if he stays in, which, if you're playing professionally overseas, why wouldn't you? Better to be picked in the 2nd and not be subject to the rookie scale.

When I Google his name and DX, I get this link, which shows him at #9. What that ranking is for, I have no idea.

I looked at their 2017 mock and didn't see him listed. Maybe 2018 mock?

I'd love to draft and stash players to help fill the roster in the future when we have Jabari and Giannis maxed out.

agreed, I think we could grab two guys in the 2nd that easily make our roster going forward and can contribute right away

And, is De Paula ever entering the draft?

Cordinier in the 2nd would be an absolute steal. Hernangomez and Cornelie are also perfect for us in the late-1st if we can use both our 2nds to move up. I had similar reasoning to package our 2nd's to move up and draft Capela in 2014. I really like a lot of the prospects in that 20-30 range this year.

I'm settling in pretty nicely on Jackson, Luwawu and Davis. basically my BPA at each area; lead guard, wing, big. Ill be ecstatic with 1 of them but there are also a plethora of others I can get on board with.

Baldwin or Davis in the 1st. Ideally both with whatever Monroe sends back.

I like Baldwin too but not more than Jackson. Jackson reminds me too much of Bledsoe with a more refined shot. I love that. The athleticism advantage Jackson has is greater to me than the length advantage Baldwin has. Plus I like Jackson as the better defender and playmaker. It's definitely close though. I like them both better than Ulis.

I'm predicting that in two years Baldwin will be available super cheap. I don't really want to use our pick on him.

I like Jackson over Baldwin, I think their on ball D is similar but Demetrius ability to run a PnR is much more valuable. Baldwin is more versatile on defense with his size but offensively more limited. Right now I have Davis ahead of both, as much as I think Jackson is a perfect fit for us. Curious to delve into the synergy stats that Dx posts closer to the draft.
