Kemba was deserving.

I would say at this rate if he keeps it up Giannis is going to be a vrtual lock for player of the month. It would take something ludicrous to beat averaging a 20ppg near triple double over a month.

Agreed on that.

That said, a lot of stars play 38-40 minutes a night. We're just not used to having stars on this team so heavy minutes for a couple guys aren't normal for us as a fan base.

Here are the MPG for this year. Middleton is 4th, and the number one guy is getting shutdown for knee issues. Giannis is 17th, but I bet that is more due to foul trouble than Kidd.

I don't see any way that the Bucks can make the playoffs.

Much of the Bucks success over the last 15 games is due to the schedule, with 11 games at home and only 4 on the road. Additionally, the Bucks opponents over those 15 games are a collectively 39 games under .500. Their recent success has generally been limited to middle of the road teams. Their record against teams that would be in the playoffs is 4-5. Given the preponderance of home games, the lack of travel fatigue and the below average competition, their won-loss record is not appreciably better than what they achieved before the last 15 games.

The rest of their schedule looks more like the schedule before the last 15 games: more travel and tougher competition. There is nothing in their W-L performance in the last 15 games that would lead one to conclude that they will dominate against stiffer competition with more away games.

The Core is playing great, but they are still posting a losing record against winning teams. The playoffs seem out of reach.

Seems the Bucks situation is like the Bulls but with a future.

As we speak, the NBA is trying to figure out a way for Giannis to end up with L.A.
No way they let us keep him.

Sorry but there is just no way he is playing anywhere else for at least another 5 years after next season.

It won't be easy. I'm sure the mob will be involved. Maybe some kind of deportation angle or threatening Greece with multiple nuclear strikes. The NBA wants nothing to do with success in Milwaukee and there is just too much money to be made to keep L.A. relevant after Kobe is gone. You don't think Kobe ending up in L.A. was legit do you ? When the mob drives you out to Area 51 and shows you that zombies do exist, you listen. Thats the rumor anyway.

They're going to get Ben Simmons. Problem solved.

Who is this ominous "they" exactly?

This forum has no shortage of conspiracy theorists, good grief.

Should be a board ban to anybody who mentions anything about Giannis leaving.

Since All Star Break:

Khris: 18.9 points 3.9 reb 4.4 assists
Giannis: 18.1/8.6/7.4
Jabari: 19.0/6.2/2.3

Is that good?

This is exciting, given the potential and age. I think Khris levels off here for career numbers and I'm totally ok with that if it is the case, given the other stuff he does with steals. If he can do these numbers in slightly fewer minutes, that is gravy. I think the real question is where Giannis and Jabari finally settle in their points per game. Is Giannis going to average 22 and the same points and assists? Is Jabari going to average 24-26 as a featured scorer (as opposed to a guy who mostly gets shots setup for him)? If those 3 can collectively hit that low to mid 60s point total, while getting the role players some open shots, then I can see our offense being great for the next 5 years.

POST ALL-STAR BREAK (23 GAMES)
Player   PTS/G   REB/G   AST/G   STL/G   BLK/G   TO/G   USG   TS

KM   18.9   3.9   4.4   2.5   0.5   2.5   0.233   0.575

Most encouraging part is the efficiency paired with the volume. Minutes need to come down though, 43/44 with no second half rest is crazy regardless of age.

BB reference pages, go to 2015-16 splits, then look under Post All-Star Break.
