Should be, if he declines his PO.

Not a fan of the less-talented brother thing. Vaughn is six or seven years younger and will probably become the guy Seth Curry is now and then some in a year or two.

My gut says this is a bit of fool's gold, but he's looked great recently. I wouldn't be opposed to taking a chance on him, so long as it doesn't break the bank.

I think Seth has had a harder time because of his name, but he's as good a shooter as Steph or as their pops, none of them are great defenders. If Vaughn breaks out great, can never have enough shooters. Thats like trading away Ray because you have Redd.

He's restricted, but without Bird or Early Bird rights, they're going to need to use cap space to keep him. Obviously just about everybody will have cap space this offseason, but if Sacto decides to chase bigger fish (likely), they will not be able to match.

Thanks for explaining. I didn't know if they had his rights or not.

I think it's wishful thinking to expect Vaughn to be that type of shooter. Possible? Maybe, but highly unlikely.

3 seasons of service is essentially the bar. This is Whiteside's fourth year in the L, Curry's 3rd.

I'm really not a fan of lesser Curry. That game last night was the only one on and I had the misfortune of watching quite a bit of it. He is horrifying defensively. I'm pretty sure almost anyone in the league can post him. Hell, I'm pretty sure I could post up on him.

But I'm not certain about his contract status in regard to being an RFA either. Based on what I have seen, if he opts out (and he likely will) he would be an UFA.

Seth Curry is already a better shooter than Vaughn will ever be after a whopping sample size of 100 3PT attempts in 40 games?

Sure, ok.

Oh. Yes. He. Can.

You guys really need to watch him for a game. Just one. I bet you cool on him a lot after watching him get pushed around like a weaker Stauskas.

I very much like the idea of signing Seth. Decent player, good fit.

Obviously we need shooting so he can be on the list. Just a matter of price and I suspect he's going to get paid for this late season run. That is a pretty typical formula for regret.

i've been saying bring him in for 2 years

would've been nice to have him for a larger sample size, but yea, what a shocker the kid can play

Sample size is too small with Seth to know how good he is on the ball (assuming he's awful), but Knight is a pathetic 33rd percentile on almost 300 possessions per synergy

I don't think a guy can play this well and simply not have a role in the league but I'd be extremely scared of signing him to anything substantial.
