Spurs interested in Bourousis?

Back on June 13, a piece was written here at Project Spurs on 32-year old Greek center Ioannis Bourousis, and how the Spurs once tried to sign him back in 2009. As the piece explains, Bourousis is coming off one of his best seasons in Europe, where he helped Laboral Kutxa get to the Euroleague Final Four, while being named an All-Euroleague first team selection, while coming off the bench in every game for Laboral.

Thursday morning, according to Eurohoops.net, the Spurs and Washington Wizards are two known NBA teams out of six, that will be calling Bourousis when free agency begins on July 1 for the NBA. Bourousis is one of the most sought after free agents in Europe, with Panathinaikos willing to give him a lucrative offer, though he has stated he will seriously contemplate looking to move the NBA as well in this offseason.
