Have we released Orlando Johnson yet? Haven't seen anything official.

The Bucks have requested waivers on Orlando Johnson, J.J. O’Brien and Jaleel Roberts. The roster stands at 15 players.

Still think outside chance they dump Monroe but looking more like they'll keep him for depth and scoring. So yeah, agree.

And to Badgerlander's point about upgrading the last three spots, personally I like Terry a lot and think he'll be a factor this year. You can afford a guy like that.

But Vaughn and Novak? No problem replacing.

Nah, I'd take him over Beasley or Novak though. Don't understand the people that would dump Vaughn and then replace him with another young D-league caliber talent who also hasn't proven jack in the league (Hunter, Young, etc.).

Ainge wasting draft picks like nobody's business.

Surprised that Alonzo Gee got cut by the Pelicans. He's not really much of a 3PT shooter, but I'd sure as hell take him as a backup wing over some of our other options....

A good number of the guys waived over the past 3 days will be better than Rashad Vaughn, Steve Novak & Jason Terry.

Hunter is a shooter that doesn't shoot well. I'd have liked young more.

Hunter shoots 3's as well as Vaughn can (30%) and is 3 years older. Nope.

I still have faith in Hunter's shooting ability, though not nearly as much as I once did. Liked him a hell of a lot more than Vaughn during the draft process though, and for whatever it's worth, he was probably better than Vaughn last year lol. Both were pretty horrendous.

Didn't people around here used to want Livio Jean-Charles or whatever his name is too? He's also been waived.

Edit: At any rate, keeping Novak on the roster over many of these waiver guys is a mistake. We can keep Vaughn and still take a chance on Hunter and then we get both of the **** rookies from last year.

I'd take all 3 of the Spurs waived players over RJ Hunter

Hunter could also be the 3rd PG, from what I've heard Boston used him more in the PG role. We know how much Jason Kidd loves him some big PG's.

Hunter has a very limited ceiling. He just turned 23, has a slow and flat release and can't keep his man in front. Sure he can stroke it from deep when unguarded and he's an underrated passer, but his weakness won't improve much (other than the release) and his stroke isn't good enough.

I know he has a low release point, but slow? One of the things scouts loved about his shot was how amazingly quick he is at getting it off. I vividly remember DraftExpress writing something along the lines of "Usually, we'd have serious questions about a shooter with as low a release point as Hunter, but it doesn't matter due to how quickly he's able to shoot it."
