Not that we really "need" him on the roster but I think Rabb is gunna put together a hell of a season.

You joke but when Brandon Ingram isn't one of the top 500 players in this year's draft class, it will be Cleo saying "I told you so".

Is this Tank 2017??

We lost our 3rd best player. 3rd. Not 1st, not 2nd, 3rd. We can survive that and if we can turn a C into something positive in the backcourt we are far from done. It just wont be easy. We can make the playoffs....barely. We need another move and need our 2 young studs to start kickin ars and taking names.

We wont be tanking that is for sure. 8th seed or bust! :)

3rd? No.

Much closer to best than 3rd.

We won't be tanking, but we sure as hell might be unintentionally losing a ton of games.

Bucks were outscored by 12.6 points per 100 with Middleton on the bench last year. This injury destroys our team. I'd argue against him being our third best player until Jabari isn't a sieve on d too.

Yup, I understand. Same story different year I guess. I am not there. Not yet anyways, Sorry. Too much left to understand before we can really make a real guess as to their success.

Middleton is a very good player. No doubt. Hopefully we get him back this year.

Making up for the loss.... Parker will be better...hopefully much better. Giannis will certainly be better and is on the verge of stardom. Thus my statement that we lost our 3rd best player. The last couple of years Middleton was our best player. I think that changes starting this year. He was certain to be #2 behind Giannis and Parker has a real shot at taking that next step as well.

Then there are the unknowns this year, such as Maker, Brogdon and to some degree our new FA's. I think Brogdon may surprise and with Mids down he may get the chance. This group is much stronger than the guys they replace IMO.

We still need to address our SG spot at least to some degree, hopefully using our depth at C.

No doom and gloom here. Our team overall is stronger and can absorb this loss better than it could in years past. I think we may have enough to make the playoffs and the more of the above that goes right the less challenging that task will become. We cannot handle any more injuries that is for sure.

Our shooting guards are Vaughn, Brogdon, and Terry. It's not going to be good.

Id rather see Thon playing SG than Vaughn. Hopefully this is the year Vaughn puts it together.

If he's not our best player, he's clearly our 2nd best player and when you have so few good players to begin with, losing one hurts that much more.

Middleton's skill set made him our most important player. Unless Giannis and Jabari make monstrous strides with their jump shots this season and/or you can replace Mid's production, life will be tough for both of them.

ETA: Since this is a draft thread, Grayson Allen sure is dreamy.

Malik Monk or Frank Jackson would be a great fit for you guys, just fit wise playing alongside Giannis and Midds

I don't care about the draft. Tracking potential lottery picks is no longer a fun experience for me as a basketball fan.
