It wouldnt surprise me if Giannis ends up second in the East behind Lebron.
Having said that there might be still be casual fans out there who still dont know he exists.

Can confirm. Live in LA and no one has a clue who he is.

It doesn't matter. In LA they will still vote just for Kobe.

I vote for me and my wife daily from every possible machine (Pc,notebook, tablets, phones). I have 2 PCs at work +5 on the testing bench all different IPs, and I have tasked 5 colleagues at work (some have absolutely no idea about NBA, but anyway ) to vote daily at least from google, 2 german colleagues (NBA fans who already like Giannis) vote from all possible media.

You don't need to vote for Jabari to keep the riff-raff out; don't coaches still choose reserves? Just vote for Lebron, Giannis, and Butler or George in the frontcourt, like any rational fan should, and it will all work out.
In fact, voting for Parker can only help Melo get in. If all Bucks, Cavs, and Knicks fans are divided and vote like a bunch of homers, Melo and KP have a huge advantage and Love is not far behind. If they just vote for the most deserving players, then you can get George or Butler in instead.
Holy ****, the West has so many more deserving players right now.
I support a lot of your opinions, but really, who cares about Melo either way?
We're excited that we have a superstar and a future all-star. Finally.
Let people vote their homer agenda in peace.

Don't get why you have to vote for anyone else. I've been voting for only Giannis and Jabari, nobody else

It's not a big deal either way, but in the grand scheme of things, encouraging Bucks fans to raise their standards of what constitutes a really good player would be a good thing. I guess we're not much of a basketball town but it's hard to accept my favorite team constantly paying max money to guys like Redd, Robinson, Thomas, and Jabari, not to mention a slew of non-max guys like Mo, Salmons, Simmons, and Maggette, and expecting me to drink the Kool-Aid.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

Exactly. Pretty much every other fanbase does so with their players. So we should too so our guys have a shot at least.

You have to be a casual of all casuals if you don't know who Giannis is by now. Yes, I realize 80% of NBA fans are "casual" fans.

I have a manager who is a pretty big sports fan, though he doesn't watch NBA games. He surfs ESPN, watches sportscenter every now and then follows the local teams. He has only a vague clue who Giannis is and probably would be confused if asked about him on the street. Beyond casual fans, the general public has no idea who Giannis is compared 80% of the city being able to know what sport Aaron Rodgers or Ryan Braun played.

Here you only hear people talk about about Lakers crap, Clippers crap, Warriors crap, Westbrook crap and Harden crap. And some think Milwaukee is on the east coast. La La Land.

No.
I Googled it tho.
I also don't watch the NHL. I watch the NBA, so I can tell you who the top pick was in 2015.

Wait just watched a segment on the jump where they said that the starters are no longer 100 % on fan votes it's only half. Now 25 to media 25 to coaches. This might get interesting

Not even if you mention "Greek Freak"? My friends here in San Diego are casual NBA fans and they know of the Greek Freak. If you mention his actual name though it's more hit and miss, and if it's a hit, it's usually a "oh, is that the Greek Freak?" response.
