Is that enough, with a decent supporting cast, to win a title in 2 years?

1. Depends how good Giannis is by then
2. Depends how good Thon Maker is by then

I think we are a consistent home court team in two years. Window for a championship probably opens up shortly there after.

The problem is getting the role players to not have career worst years around these guys.

I say no. But if we can clear out Telly, Delly, Henson, and Monroe, isn't there some FA in the next year or two that would want to play with Giannis and Khris? 2018: Chris Paul 2019: John Wall, Klay Thompson, Paul George

I would, by the tice we are good enough to make a good run he will be declining his option and getting a payday. I honestly don't know how good Fultz really is

My best guess, judging from the top picks in the last few drafts, he will likely be net negative for the first 2-3 years, a one way player with tremendous 1-1 skills and pretty much nothing else. After that I don't know, it's up to him.

If I got the Nets pick, I would be hoping for the player we draft to turn out as good as Middleton. I'm not trading Middleton unless I'm blown away.

We've been clinging to the nasty 4 letter 'H' word for 30 years. Flipping talent for picks at every turn just keeps us on the hope treadmill. It really isn't rocket science. Build the team. Evaluate the talent, know what you need, keep winning pieces and acquire the rest. The hardest part is done. We have the centerpiece. If the front office doesn't know how to put a winner around that centerpiece, and keeps grasping for straws, replace them. We can flip talent for picks for the next 10 years and never get there. At this stage, give me the known entity who is a piece every day of the week. Flipping known talent for picks is russian roulette.

Why yes, it has. He doesn't seem to be maturing. More goof than man. His relative fundamentals seem to be regressing. Traveling, fumbling passes, ect. He appears to have a focus issue. He's talented enough to be an average to above average big man. I question how seriously he takes his craft.

Straight up I'd say no. If we could get rid of the Henson/Teletovic $ somehow at the same time then I'd think harder about it

Celtics would never give up this pick for Middleton anyway, they have Avery Bradley. Kind of a bizarre theoretical

Yes, and if we are too late on trading Mids now, I'd see about trading him for the 2018 brooklyn unprotected pick. IMO that pick is better than the 2017 pick swap. Lots of quality bigs, and its unprotected with no swap. I was never terribly high on Middleton to begin with though. I think he's already peaked as a player.

Honestly he hasn't been the same since he was about to rob that jewelry store.

There is obviously prejudice and racism in the world, but it still stuns me to think someone looked at an oncoming John Henson and thought to themselves, "that looks like a dude who's about to rob a jewelry store" :nonono:

Henson looks like about as dangerous of a thief as the **** hamburgler

I dont know man, if the owner got Qdoba for lunch.. Henson was probably going to go postal on him for not getting Chipotle.

Also, lets be real.. Henson should be charged with theft for what he is doing to the Bucks.

Ball and Futz are not great prospects. This draft has depth, not top end talent.
