Has his game evolved at all since being a Buck? Like what skills has he noticeably improved if he has done so? I always liked him a lot and thought he had a lot of potential so I hope we give him another run at the backup sf spot one of these days. I have to think though that we have to move Simmons or Mase before he gets another chance whee he could get decent minutes.

I think the main thing he needed was confidence. You could tell he was a talented player when he was here, but he always looked rushed and uncomfortable.

Game Over

Tau wins 78-74, so now they only need to win 1 game out of the next 3. The next 2 are at Tau, so looks like barring a miracle, that Tau will win the title.

Ersan had an OK game, leading Barcelona with 15 points and 10 rebounds. He hit a big 3 in the corner with 45 seconds left when the score was 74-69 Tau. The 3-pointer made it 74-72. The next possession down a Barcelona player was fouled and missed both free throws when the score was 75-72. That really hurt as there were only 20 some seconds left in the game at that point.

He's really fearless defensively...always throwing his body around for rebounds and challenging shots as a help defender.

There's an article on Ersan on the ACB web site. I haven't taken Spanish since 8th grade, but a few points:

- He got off to a slow start after his signing brought high expectations.
- He was hyped as the next Kukoc.
- His 18 rebound game tied a Barca playoff record.
- He's become Barca's MVP in the playoffs in averaging 14.8 points and 10.67 boards.

Anybody who feels up to a more complete translation, go for it.

Great to hear about Ersan. I'm still fairly well convinced that his game has a distinct NBA style to it, and after some seasoning, he'll be a good (or better) pro. Looks like that seasoning is happening right now.

Awesome. It was a great couple days in Lake Geneva. Thanks for asking and remembering. Also thanks for all the song suggestions to all who contributed, many of them found their way in to the rotation.

The last few weeks have been crazy between boards, graduation, moving to Wauwatosa, and the wedding. I don't recommend bunching all of life's stresses into a one month span.

Sweet.

Glad to see that everything worked out. Now that you got through all that you are on easy street. So you traveled all across the US looking for a job and ended up in Wauwatosa? Lame.

EDIT: Congrats Illosova

It's Wauwatosa for the 1 year internship, then off to beautiful Detroit for the 4 year residency. When I interviewed, it was the first and only time I'd ever been to Detroit. I saw roughly 0.5% of the city. The rest of my knowledge comes from movies such as The Crow, RoboCop, 8 Mile, and Judge Dredd. They paint a cheery picture.

Ersan's contract has an NBA out clause. He doesn't have to get permission. If he gets an NBA deal he likes, he can take it.
