Let's try to keep the politics of it all out of this thread.

Just wondering who else has it. I know I'm not the only one that's picked it up. For all you Madison guys, GameStop on State Street got a freakin' truckload in this morning for both PS3 and 360.

I didn't have time to pick up one yet, but I loved the last one. Can't wait to get it, what do you think of this one thus far?

Right on, CBQ :) I'm loving it. Apparently, hidden packages didn't make a return which disappoints me, but it's been great so far. The graphics are insane. Wish I had this hooked up to an HDTV to the full experience.

Oh, nice. Thanks for the heads up.

Sorry for the repeat thread. I went back 3 pages and didn't see one.

I havent played it but the funny thing was I was at Target yesterday and they had like 50 copies for each system.

I found it funny because for like the last year they have been hyping the fact (well as if it was a fact anyway) you had to reserve a copy because if you didn't you wouldnt be able to find it on the shevles (for months) unless you realy lucked out.

I've seen that before how they hype up how if want the game you have to reserve it way in advace but then you go to the store on the release day and theres a stack of copies on the shelves.

I did see gamespot already reviewed the new GTA and gave it a perfect 10.

I am going to buy a new HDTV television before next season and imagine it would look great on there..I can't wait to get this game.

I heard about them not putting the hidden package in there this time..disappointing.

IGN gave it a perfect 10 as well. This has the potential to be the highest rated game of the modern-internet era, surpassing Z:OOT.

I think my favorite line of the game thus far is, "Tell me interesting things!!" Gets me every time

I knew when I typed the word "package" that I was looking for trouble but I couldn't think of another way to phrase it. :D

Anyone that has this game having problems with it freezing at all? I want to buy it but I've heard there have been some issues.
All posts are my own opinion.

Game is fun, but I can't see giving it a perfect 10. It handles very poorly/clumsily. Graphics are not a problem, but not stunning either. Nothing very innovative about it.

Again, it's a fun game, but a score that implies it's flawless, and better than Halo 3, Orange Box, and 2k8? I guess I'm nitpicking...

You know it's a major game release when you log into Xbox Live and everyone in your friends list is playing the same game!!! I'll probably pick it up this weekend...
