Lakefront, the Knick, and the museum are not within walking distance if that was your plan. However, Pieces of Eight is along the lake and you can plan an early lunch there in lieu of breakfast. If you want to go the full monty hit up the Sunday breakfast brunch. Its f'n great.

I 2nd the recommendation of La Fuente, or it's cross street rival La Perla.

As for night life, the best area for everything is Cathedral Square. You have a sports bar (Zim's), regular ol' bars (Flannery's, Bad Genie, etc.), lounges (Taylor's), and dance club/bars (Three, Kenadee's).

i was kinda hoping for walking distance, mostly because i don't know how much of a pain it is to park around there.

i'll float pieces of eight as an option, we're leaving tomorrow and coming back later on saturday so the sunday brunch isn't an option.

thanks

ESBF is right, Pizza Shuttle is late night, party type food. Pizza Man is dinner food.

Agree on Buona's

Safehouse is really cool. Joey Buenos serves lasagna bigger than your head. Trinity is a fun night spot. God I miss Milwaukee.
