MY APOLOGIZES AND PLEASE LOCK IF THIS HAS ALREADY BEEN POSTED

http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2008/05/ ... 20809.html

The deal Bogut is negotiating is worth an estimated $13.3 million a season over six years with his club, the Milwaukee Bucks, is expected to be formally announced on July 1. By then, both Sydney and Brisbane could be defunct.

I figured he'd get 11-12M a year, and I think this adds up to 12.7M American. Slightly over, but not a huge deal.

If Bogut stays the 2nd best player at his position in the East and continues to improve, this could be a very good contract for the Bucks.

I'm going to lock this one because:

a) We've got Bogut contract threads

b) This doesn't appear to be a reputable news source. Just a rehash of some crap thrown around. It talks of a 6-year/$80mm deal, which is impossible under the CBA. He can only get a five-year extension.

There seems to be no basis to this report other than a rehash of the earlier report.
