OT: Making the move
I'm officially making the move Milwaukee! (and DB, you thought I was going to be an RLI lifer )
Now my next step is to find a place to live. Could anyone give me suggetions of apartments/areas to stay away from or good recommendations you've heard good things about?
My fiance will be working in the West Allis area and I will be working in Waukesha. Hope to find something near both places like Brookfield/New Berlin.
I'm familiar with downtown, just not the burbs.

You should move to Hartland to play cribbage and bridge with all of us snobs.

That is one of the most affordable and nicest places you'll find in the New Berlin area, or at least it was for me. I was going to move there in April but the person that was leaving the only 1 bedroom apartment that they had available, decided to re-up his lease.

They were on my call list - unfortunately they don't have any available units now. Thanks for the input!

It is if you want it to be.

I called there too - the guy was kind of a jerk on the phone. Prices were reasonable, but nothing available either.
Out of 14 places, only 3 had immediate units. I'm not shocked...ahhh the joys of moving (and getting married oh and a new job).

Theres another apartment complex called The Fountain Square that I also thought was really nice. I decided not to go there due to some of the poor treatment I got from some of the management though.

In the world? Thanks Twiggy!
No, I thought we were just talking about Wisconsin but I was talking about southeast Wisconsin only. In Wisconsin it's about 5,847 and in the world it's 7,924,851.
