I think the main reason that Mo could function on a contending or championship team is that his "game" would be disciplined by the coach and the good players around him. No way would they tolerate the way he played here last season.

Why not? You don't think either are capable of riding the coat-tails of stars the way lesser talented crap like Kendrick Perkins, Udonis Haslem or Fabricio Oberto have in the last few years?

I don't because I believe both are such awful defenders that a great coach would easily exploit either of them.

Yeah. Guys who defend like Antoine Walker or Jason Williams can never win titles.

That years NBA Finals starting PG's were the lockdown defending duo of Jason Williams and Jason Terry

doesn't matter. 2nd rd picks rarely produce 1st year - many don't make roster 2nd yr.

If guy can defend and board - he can practice his shot and be useful in 2-3 yrs ala Bowen

Oh and before I go to bed thought I would throw this out there..

There is a school of thought that Mbah A Moute (I need to practice spelling his name) is a potentially good SG/SF player rather than just an SF or SF/PF. Food for thought.

Can we just nick name him "Dick?" That's what I'm calling him.

His defense is definitely above average.

You have to be on the floor to show it, how much does the average 3rd string SF play?

I have always believed that you need some coming off the bench who will give either an offensive or defensive spike for a few minutes to the team (as opposed to just subs who won't do much harm while the starters rest or hide from fouls). This guy may just provide a defensive spike. He may just be a situational role player who will contribute to wins. In some ways, I think he may contribute before Alexander.

We make a huge trade for a SF, then we draft a SF in the 1st and another SF in the 2nd not to mention we still have D Mase. That is too many SF's there has to be something in the works still.

Mason would probably be included in any move that involves Mo or CV I would think. Haha perhaps they didn't want to do anything involving Mason because he was supposed to be at the Bucks draft party thing at Summerfest tonight? I dont even know as I didnt watch the FSN coverage, but was Dez there?

I really wanted Jawai but I can't complain as I don't really know anything about this guy. Can we at least think up of some other name for him though?

As for the "More to Come" maybe we can trade CV/Dez for Hinrich and Mo for Haslem. I'd be down with that pipe dream.

Man, great minds think alike, I just said this to my buddy 30 seconds ago. Mason/CV no pick for Hinrich, Mo for Haslem/Cook.

Hinrich/Sessions/Bell
Redd/Cook
Jefferson/Mbah a Moute
Haslem/Alexander
Bogut/Gadzuric

I'd be down with that roster and it can really defend.

+1 but i would maybe throw ersan in there infront of Mbah

plus and more importantly, Chris Douglas-Roberts was still available. not happy with this pick. first round talent was open to us in the 2nd round and we passed...

Otherwise, I'm excited about RJ and JOE

There is another aspect to these picks (as both Joe and to a greater extent Moute) that hasn't been mentioned but I think is very important. Both are intense, high energy guys that can move and play defense. Having guys like that on your team for practices makes your starters better player as well. I would love to see RJ & Joe get after it, as well as Moute & Redd (for examples.) Players like these will make you a better more competitive team all the way around.

Personally, I'd still rather have picked CDR and I think the bucks will regret on doing so.....

I'm gonna nickname him M&M - any other suggestions?
