Diablo 2 (in my opinion) is the greatest video game ever made.

Diablo 3 looks to be equally as amazing. I am sure that it will consume my life when it comes out. :D :(

I wasn't really a PC gamer when the first 2 Diablos came out, but now I play about 10 hrs a week. I might give D3 a shot. It's not like WoW is it?

Agreed.

The graphics are amazing, whirlwind looks even more sweet than it used to too. :D

Apparently the game will have a more 'MMO' type of feel as well, encouraging more grouping to get better loot.

I haven't played a computer game since Starcraft back in the day, but I remember liking Diablo. Might have to try this out.

No it isn't like WoW.

Diablo is fast paced and you kill several monsters at once. Boss fights are quick and the game has unbelievable replay value... It takes like 2 weeks to a month to make a good character, rather than a year or two like in WoW.

WoW will always be the best MMO but Diablo3 will be the perfect escape. I can't wait.

My friend called me last night and was like 'I have the BEST NEWS EVER!'
'What's that?' I replied.
'They're coming out with a Diablo III. Blizzard.com will be my best friend for the time being!'
'You're absolutely pathetic.'

I LOVED Diablo II and its expansion. It was a great game, though I may have been a little too obsessed at one point. I've only seen people play WoW, never played it myself, but Diablo always seemed more fast-paced and a little less complex in a good way.

Not big on playing computer games but I'm excited that they have finally brought this franchise back.
