Look for Bucks to trade............

Post#1 » by FutureBuck2008 » Thu Jul 24, 2008 9:34 pm

Andrew Bogut. I know he is signed now but I think Hammond and Dumars never had a scoring center while they were in Detroit. i would send Bogut to Sacramento for Ron Artest and Brad Miller, trade Redd and Gadzuric to the Hornets for Bonzi Wells, Hilton Armstrong and a 2009 second round pick, Mo Williams and Joe Alexander to the Pistons for Chauncey Billups, Antonio McDyess, and a 2009 second round pick.....finally trade Mason and one of our 2009 2nd round picks (from NO or Mia) for Daequan Cook. :)

Roster:

Billups, Sessions, Lue
Artest, Cook, Bell
Jefferson, Wells, Mbah a Moute
Smith, McDyess, Allen
Miller, Armstrong

Who says that Bogut is gonna stay? The Pistons never had star players or centers who could be big scorers like Dwight Howard (or Shaq in his days with the Magic). Winning teams usually has a star or two and key players around them or just solid players who play defense or at least try. Skiles never had a scoring center in Chicago or Phoenix.

Sure I really like Bogut quite a bit. Now if the Bucks had Bogut and just had solid players but not really good players then maybe he might stay in Milwaukee. The Jefferson trade i think says that the Bucks are gonna build around not stars but pretty good players but ones that will play defense like Hammond had in Detroit. Centers that Hammond and Dumars had in Detroit were guys like Nazr Mohammed, Ben Wallace, Mehmet Okur, and so on. I'm not saying Bogut will totally be traded but there is the chance that it could happen.

why should i? i am actually about to step.....away......from.....the.....keyboard ANYWAYS. Cuz i'm about to play Dead Rising for the 360, then I'm going to the grocery store, maybe do a little shopping, then eating at my parents' house right after that. So if it gets me away from such rude comments and arguing then yeah I'll be thrilled!

You proposed a salary dump trade for our #1 draft pick center who just signed an extension.

I usually just do not post in trade threads that I don't like, but this is the worst one I've seen in years.

+1

Hopefully the original poster or one of the mods will change the title.

Anyway, in regards to trading Andrew Bogut?

It would be doable, but there would be some logistical obstacles.
Since he has signed his extension, Bogut is a "poison pill" player
That's like BYC on steroids.

Look at the info there on "poison pill"

Again, it is doable, and some trades could still be made to work with some salary cap gymnastics, but it is harder to do than even a BYC player.
