The Bucks (hypothetically) win less than 35 games...who are you blaming?

So many good choices, but I think an opinion would definitely change once we see how things play out if they indeed suck. But my lead horse is going to be Mike, followed closely by Bogut, and the Hammond.

It will change through out the season. First, everyone is going to blame Richard Jefferson. He'll be overrated, washed up, etc.

Then everyone will realize that Michael Redd is to blame, because he's supposed to be the guy that is blamed when we lose. He's one demensional and is the sole reason why Andrew Bogut is NOT a bust for a #1 overall pick.

But wait a second, we wasted a lottery pick on JOE ALEXANDER? He'll be the guy we all blame half way through the season. His 10 ppg average in the D-League will be terrible.

Some will realize that Hammond is the real person to blame though, because he's the one who put this team together. We all hated Mo Williams when he was here but when he's draining open 3s after Lebron draws quadruple teams, Hammond will be the worst GM in the league for trading him.

Everyone on the roster at one point will be the "worst" at their position or the reason we lose. The only person safe is Sessions, because although he's undersized and can't defend a starting PG in the league, he dished out 24 assists in a garbage game last year so he's special.

Judging by the chat around the board the last two days I'd say Hammond's leading at the furlong, Bogut is closing fast and Redd is saving his energy for a late run.

Hammond. He's the guy made a 'win-now' trade then drafted a 22 year old project with few basketball skills, signed Bogut to a huge extension, signed crap with the money he had and downgraded the talent significantly with his latest trade.

Next year at this time I hope we're talking about the complete blow up that has taken place.

Yeah, I think we got Redd fatigue early in the summer...he went off the trade market and we all lost interest. As soon as the season begins and he starts Maxing it up again we'll be back on his case :)

I could see "OHHHH AND 1" rising to the top.

Or if Damon Jones decides to get a stupid ass mohawk or something, I could see myself blaming him for every single loss.

Don't forget that Hammond also failed to acquire Dwight Howard via trade :)

Out of curiosity, who exactly were you hoping them to sign in free agency?

Mo nation will attack Bogut, anti-Mo nation will go after Redd/Skiles.
Personally I'm blaming everything that goes wrong on CJ Bruton.

That would mean The Senator had blown it again. I don't think I could take that. I'm going to have to interpret this pessimism as personal, and not analytical. My visions of Team and True PG demand that I do that.

First of all, I love that Ron Walter is a choice :)

If we only win 35 games with our current roster, it's really hard to tell. I would say that our current roster is better than that if properly coached, so from that standpoint one could blame Skiles.

Then again, Skiles is an established coach who has at least had modest success, so if all he could get out of this bunch was 35 wins, then perhaps I'd have to re-evaluate my assessment of some of the talent, and if that is the case I would go back to ultimately blaming Herb Kohl since it was he who ultimately prevented us from having better talent on this roster.

I don't know. It is too early to say. Hopefully there will be no scapegoat because we will exceed 35 victories, hopefully by a significant margin.

Interesting question though.
