I made a CD today. Most of my recent tunes have been of the poppy, girlish variety so I figured I needed a good ol' rock mix.

Trust Company - Downfall
Stone Sour - Inhale
Papa Roach - Forever

I really freakin' love The Veronicas. Favorite tunes are I Can't Stay Away, Untouched, Everything I'm Not, Secret, Leave Me Alone, When it All Falls Apart and 4ever.
Wow, considering how we're usually polar opposites when it comes to sports, I'm suprised at how similar our music tastes are (yes, down to the Hilary Duff song), at least when it comes to Rock/Pop. Rock on, brother.
My rap playlist has been forzen for about a year now, as not very much that has come out recently is very good IMO. The Carter III was all right for awhile, not nearly as good as the first two, but its a moot point as two of my friends made me listen to it far too much. I really can't believe how overrated Lil Wayne has become...but I guess it's not his fault the rest of the rap world blows these days.

IMO, I think the song sucks, too, from an overall musical standpoint. But it's catchy, so I personally listen to it. Sometimes it's not all about what sucks and what doesn't in the grand scheme of things...it's about what sounds good to the ear.
I had this problem with "Take Me Out" by Franz Ferdinad. It's such a god-awful song, but no mater what I told myself, I still felt myself tapping my foot everytime I heard it. So I gave in. I still think the song blows at its, but it is a part of my iPod now.
I'll just list a couple songs on my more..."
quirky" playlist since I don't see too much deviance in this thread yet:
Blaqk Audio - Bitter for Sweet
Blind Guardian - Time Stands Still
Bryan Adams - Heaven
Chemical Brothers - Galvanize
Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home
De La Soul - Rock Co.Kane Flow (ft. MF Doom)
Demons and Wizards - Crimson King
Elvenking - Moonchariot
Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Dover (Thank you, Guitar Hero)
Iced Earth - Dracula
Peaches - **** the Pain Away
Raid! - The World Without Logos
Seatbelts - Tank!
Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Wizards in Winter
