CBS Sportsline Top 20 SG's & SF's

Since we had a thread on the centers, I thought I would start one the swingmen.

8. Michael Redd, Milwaukee: There are no questions about Redd's ability to score, and particularly his accuracy from the perimeter. But his defense is so-so, he has never made it out of the first round of the playoffs and he hasn't proved he can make teammates better.

5. Richard Jefferson, Milwaukee: The change will do him good after some frustrating years in New Jersey. It won't be easy playing for coach Scott Skiles in Milwaukee, but the Bucks just might surprise people around the Eastern Conference. While Michael Redd hits the 3s, Jefferson should have room to slash toward the basket, getting his 20 points per game.

Based on the player rating system for CBS Sportsline, we had:

12th best SG
4th best SF
5th best C

for the players that were full-time starters last year. Interesting. I'd like to see what exactly goes into that calculation though, it's not really described.

I would love to see the calculation that has guys like Jefferson and Maggette over guys like Marion and BUTLER.

And any positive list that Yi is on at this point has to be questioned.
