OT: ESPN Streak for the Cash

Post#1 » by Mags FTW » Sat Oct 11, 2008 1:53 am

So does anyone else play ESPN's Streak for the Cash? I just started and won my first 2 picks. Anybody been playing this for awhile and have a good streak going? Maybe we can pool our collective knowledge together to win this thing.

I'm looking forward to when we can start picking NBA games.

Well, this got zero replies the first time I posted it, but I've started a group and recruited some people from the OT Board so I figured I'd give it another shot.

I laughed too!

When I saw this thread I wondered why CV was streaking. Maybe to show us he has no pubes as well?

I haven't won more than 5 in a row. It's tough to have enough patience to wait on the safe picks. I always end up picking a hockey or soccer game and i know nothing about any of the teams.

I always lean towards picking televised games, even if I may feel less confident than picking a non-televised game. I like having a vested interest in the game I'm watching.

so being in the group doesn't really have any effect on your streak overall right?

No, but it's cool to see who everyone else is picking and get some debate going. I got Louisville tonight.

I don't streak for cash. It's a hobby, I don't need to get paid for it.

I changed the title when I bumped the thread. I originally titled it, "Who is going streaking with me?" :)

But after that got zero replies, I decided to change the title.

Make sure you have the college game selected. As far as I know you can only select one game at a time. If you pick the Duncan/Biedrins it will cancel the others out.

Well, I'm back down to 0 after missing on UConn and Duncan. Going with Purdue (shut up Major Dad).
