It is interesting how Oden and Durant haven't really shined like expected. Granted there are many extenuating circumstances, but interesting nonetheless.

I personally thank the NBA for the 19-year age rule. For the first time in 12-years we've got guys coming into the league who are more mature and ready to play.

Carlos Boozer coming out huge against Denver with 25/14. It's truely mind boggling when you think that this team would be one of the top three in the East had we chosen Boozer over Gadz. I hate to even think about how good we could be.

We should have taken Boozer over Haislip. Forget about Gadz.

Thompson was rising towards the draft, nobody foresaw him going in the lottery at 12, but late teens was not going to be a shock. He reminded me of Lamarcus Aldridge in a way in the games I saw him play while @ Rider (big better on the MAAC conference, whoo!). I recall during the MAAC conference championship game against Siena, the commentators were pretty adamant that Jason would be mid first round. Nice call.

I actually had a friend who wanted that at the time, granted he didn't follow the NBA, NCAA, or the draft to the extent that I did. I laughed and informed him we could get Boozer in the 2nd round if we so desire. Turns out we were both right, Boozer was a stud and we could have gotten him in round 2. :)

I know we always lament missing on Paul, Deron, and (most people) Bynum, but what about Danny Granger?

That guy is a hell of a basketball player.

Yi starting out well this year like he did for the Bucks last year. The true test for him is if he can maintain it all year.
