Well he hasn't been getting a ton of minutes so perhaps he is available, however I'm not exactly sure they want to move him. All of his teammates seemed pretty happy with having him out there with them and I could see Mo Cheeks wanting to hold onto him because of how he plays.. especially when you are playing pretty soft (the way they have been lately).PaBuck wrote:The Bucks need an enforcer inside...have for a few years now. Reggie Evans defends the post very well and is the perfect compliment to Bogut. Running into an Evans screen is not a pleasant experience. He is a good team player and an awesome rebounder. While the Bucks can't afford to take on too much salary, Evans $4.6M annual salary is not too bad along with a 3 year contract. The Bucks should talk to Philly offering Bell. If we could lose some salary in the acquisition, we could get our enforcer on the cheap. Mo Cheeks will be attacted to a defender like Bell. He has Spheights as a backup and could be persuaded.

The answer is simple...
It is time...
He has had enough rest to once again gather all of his powers...
Bring back...
ANTHONY MASON!

When is Dirk's deal up? Isn't he at the same time as James and Wade and them? It'd be interesting to see:
Sessions/Redd/Jefferson/Dirk/Bogut

Redd/Villanueva for Dirk? Man I hate Dirk too. Then start Luc at 2.

That brings us outside shooting, a poor man's Redd fill-in and a big man project who while not a banger at least has size and occasionally blocks some shots.
Getting somewhat sidetracked here, but...
After December 15th:
Redd, Elson, Malik Allen
for
Anthony Parker, Jason Kapono, Kris Humphries, Nathan Jawai (potential Bogut Buddy?), 2009 lottery protected 1st round pick, $3 mil
We don't tender Graham his QO and let him walk as a UFA. We re-sign Parker to a contract starting at $5 to $5.5 mil.
Elson and Malik Allen are worthless and we avoid having to pay worthless players $3 mil for next season. Add that to Redd's $17.04 mil for next season. That would shave AT LEAST $2.71 mil off the 09-10 payroll even factoring in the salary for that Toronto draft pick, and most likely a tad more. Plus Kohl banks $3 mil to help cover other payroll expenditures.
Then, perhaps we can find some team willing to give us an expiring contract in exchange for Gadzuric and Villanueva. We'd then have the kind of financial flexibility necessary to properly shape the roster for 09-10.

Much as I love Nathan, he's a definite health risk to take on right now if you are expecting anything decent from him.

If Philly keeps Evans, it hinders Spheight's development. He needs PT and is not getting much. There just isn't room for both and Philly does like Spheights. Just see the opportunity here for the bucks.
