Exactly. Bogut's career averages up through last Saturday's game are:

11.9ppg/8.7rpg/2.5apg/1.0bpg/.532 FG%/.593 FT% in 254 games.

If you had told anyone on this board back in June 2005 that one-third of the way through Bogut's fourth season in the league, that was the cumulative production the Bucks would have gotten, the board would have rioted. Add in the teams win totals of 40, 28, 26 and now 14 ytd and I'm not sure people would have believed it could get that bad.

Not picking Bogut would have taken some real guts, but guys like Jay Bilas at the time were pushing Chris Paul. But the problem wasn't necessarily the selection of Bogut, but the compounding of it that occurred as the team spent the last three years making personnel moves assuming Bogut was/would quickly become much better than he has.

Assuming Chris Paul would be the same player with the Bucks is crazy. He'd be backing up Mo on the bench for his rookie year. Our frontline would be the same as it was the previous year. Same bad management and same bad coach. I know Chris Paul is a special player, but he was also thrown into a great situation.
