I don't know what you consider "everybody", but the Bucks are 12-10 with all three of Redd/RJ/Bogut playing. I think that is the record that matters, those are our three best players and they take up a huge portion of our salary.

I don't think that should be the criteria, is my point. Every team has had injuries this year, it's the injuries to the top guys that matters.

Every team has had injuries this year. True. That's why this chart can be used in more than one way. For example, we can say "off course that we can expect some injuries. Lets say injury to Redd. We are still 13-7 when our other players are healthy no metter is Redd healthy or not"

That's one way you can use this chart. So we CAN survive injury to one of our best players (Redd) if our other players are healthy. I am not that naive to expect all players to be healthy for all 82 games. But this chart show that we can survive without one of our best players (and best scorer) if others are healthy.

I'm not worried. We'll be better defensively and rebounding wise with the loss of Redd. Scoring will be a challenge. But finally this team has the decks cleared and can try to form their own identity and not the Redd identity we've had the last four years.

Good work sigra, this should show those who think we need to tank that we should at least be able to hang around for a little while longer in the playoff race.

Adam was the first to point it out as a disciple of win score but... points are easily replaced in the NBA.

REfreshing, after having years of posters preaching that Bucks would go nowhere without Redd and lose every game. That myth has been finally put to rest for once and for all.

The downer is that we cannot flog off Redd.

Whatever Portland was offering this year should have been accepted. Seriously, I can't match contracts to make a deal that I wouldn't have taken, much less called "garbage."

What I have noticed even with Bogut getting limited minutes... is that without Redd the ball goes through Bogut almost every single time. It should be even with Redd in the team but it's not. That's why he has been so productive in limited minutes... he gets into a position he can score or they double him up and he passes out and we not have 4 on 3 elsewhere on the court and can move the ball around for open shots. It just spreads the floor so much better.

With Redd the opposite happens.... he is a dribble first and look for a shot and then if he can't he thinks about passing off to others... he isn't a pass first guard.... he has been better this year in passing out of double teams but with Redd when he gets a double team its usually away from the basket... so the court isn't as well spread.

The Bucks should make sure Bogut gets the ball at least once on every play.... when they do good things happen. The only time they seem to do it in games when Redd is in the team is for the first 4 mins of the 1st quarter of every game... and then don't run those plays again for the remainder of the game until it gets down to the last few minutes of the game and they go to Bogut again who usually delivers. It's just so simple I don't understand why they don't go to Bogut more often.
After 2 years of trying to register for this website.... I can finally get on!!!

Looking bad for Redd fans? According to your chart it contradicts that statement. When everyone is healthy they are 8-4 (.667) and w/o Redd and certain people healthy they are 14-7 (.667) or 6-3 (.667). Looks the same too me. I am not a big fan of Redd and I think he is overpaid, but your statement is flawed and yet the season is not even over. You could end up eating crow yet. By the way nice work. :D

Mike,

Look at that again. ;) With everybody healthy we are .667. Without only Redd we are also .667

It is same but how that contradict my statement? Those records show that it doesn't metter does Redd play or not. His importanc is 0. And with that contract?
