TI: 4 teamer works for all parties

Was bored with trade checker:

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/t ... &te=&cash=

Miami Heat

Incoming Players
Dan Gadzuric
Luke Ridnour

Outgoing Players: Mark Blount, Dorell Wright

Miami adds a year to the crappy contract of Blount by getting Gadz in return. Then they get a needed vet PG for Dorell Wright which is in their favor.

Milwaukee Bucks

Incoming Players
Mark Blount
George Hill
Travis Outlaw
Raef LaFrentz
Jacque Vaughn

Outgoing Players: Charlie Bell, Dan Gadzuric, Luke Ridnour, Charlie Villanueva, Richard Jefferson

We get Outlaw, Hill as young guys on decent contracts. We dump RJ/Gadz/Bell/Ridnour and take back Blount to replace Ridnour's expiring for next year as an asset. We have to give up CV as a price.

Portland Trail Blazers

Incoming Players
Ian Mahinmi
Ime Udoka
Fabricio Oberto
Richard Jefferson

Outgoing Players: Travis Outlaw, Raef LaFrentz

Blazers get RJ and take on Oberto's modest, short contract to make things work.

San Antonio Spurs

Incoming Players
Charlie Bell
Dorell Wright
Charlie Villanueva

Outgoing Players: George Hill, Ian Mahinmi, Fabricio Oberto, Ime Udoka, Jacque Vaughn

Spurs get the athletic scoring big/wing that they want and only valuable piece given up is George Hill. They get Bell/Wright back. Bell can take over the Finley role next year if necessary. Spurs don't take much in return and have CV as an RFA.

Draft picks can be thrown in somewhere to even things out.

Next year:
PG - Sessions/Hill
SG - Redd(when he returns)/draft/Sessions
SF - LRMAM/JA/Outlaw
PF - Outlaw/JA/LRMAM/Allen
C - Bogut/Elson/Blount

Miami wouldn't do it. They want 2010 cap space.

Fine, simplified:

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/t ... &te=&cash=

Bucks give: CV, Gadz, RJ
Bucks get: Outlaw, Hill, Vaughn, Lafrentz

Blazers give: Raef LaFrentz, Travis Outlaw
Blazers get: RJ, Oberto, Ian Mahinmi, Udoka

Spurs give: Ime Udoka, George Hill, Jacque Vaughn, Ian Mahinmi, Fabricio Oberto
Spurs get: CV, Gadz

Blazers would jump on either of those trades. That said, they have a full roster and can't take back more than they send out right now, so these trades don't work.

As for that 2nd trade, I doubt the Spurs would want to take on Gadz contract when CV is needing an extension this summer. Perhaps if the deal could be simplified some...

I dont like the trade cause CV is in it. I thought Outlaw is a sf? I rather have Bo Outlaw.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
