I like this. The late author David Foster Wallace convincingly argues that the qualities that make a professional athlete so amazing on the court/field are the same qualities that make them utterly boring as a human being ("How Tracy Austin Broke My Heart")
Bogut makes me think there are exceptions to the rule.

Don't forget the spats and monocles (or pince-nez). Maybe some sacks of money too.
Redd can supply the sacks of money

Jim Jones even mentioned that it appears Bogut was ready to go dancing after the game with those styling dance shoes

No offence Adam, but he kind of looks like a guy who'd be into jazz.

Actually the suit kind of reminds me of the homeless guy Michael Moore dressed up as a pimp and took to Washington to chat with lobbyists.

I'm not sure where you get your stereotypes from, but the audience at nearly any famous jazz club is 50% students wearing jeans and whatever, and 50% adults wearing whatever they wore to work that day (normal suits, etc).

I don't care if you want to poke fun at jazz fans, but jokes related to nerdy academic types would make more sense.

what he should have said is that Bogut appears to enjoy having a good time, so he's obviously not a fan of jazz
