Sakic Re-signs with Colorado

Joe Sakic has signed on for a 19th NHL season with the Colorado Avalanche franchise, signing a one-year deal for 2007-08.

I don't think there was ever much doubt that he would return to play with the Avs. Still... another 100 point season for Sakic. The guy has still got game.

as the above post said, it was pretty much expected to have him come back, it's nice to see that it's official though. glad to have super joe back for one more year (at least)
