EDMONTON -- The Edmonton Oilers will have to do without star rookie Taylor Hall for the rest of the season.
The Oilers said in a release Friday night that Hall suffered a high ankle sprain when he fell at the end of his fight with Columbus forward Derek Dorsett on Thursday.
The 19-year-old will be out of action for eight weeks.
Really disapointed that he's going to miss the rest of the season. He should of never been in that fight in the first place. MacIntyre, Peckham and Stortini are all useless as far as i'm concerned. Those guys need to be stepping in and they can't be letting the future of this team get hurt in a fight in a game that meant nothing.
Oh and so much for Hall's bid at rookie of the year.
