Too soon? Nah, basketball season can't start soon enough.

In the last two years, Minnesota hasn't lost a season opener. That gives us the edge right there I think. At least Tyreke isn't playing. Vroooooooooooom.

Lets keep that season opening streak alive.

Whats wrong with Tyreke?

I am looking forward to seeing how Cousins does for them in his first game that actually counts. I think the intensity will shock him alittle. Plus Darko kicking his butt will be funny to watch.

Darko will dunk on Cousins, hang on the ring and get a Tech.

Love will score 30

Wolves will win by 10

We've got to make the most of games like this against other young rebuilding teams early on. The schedule is not pretty in Nov/Dec.

I'm pretty confident Kahns going to talk about improvement after our schedule becomes easier.

Really? It's only been two years? I feel like we haven't lost a season opener in half a decade.

But after further review I can recall we lost the 1st two games when Antoine Walker was playing for us.

Timberwolves defeat the New Jersey Nets and win their second consecutive season opener (Record 1-0).

It doesn't seem right, but we might be thinking of home openers.

So this game is supposed to be on FSN right? It's gonna be fun trying to get a bar to turn a TV off of the World Series...I'll hedge my bets and just go to B-dubs as they have the most TVs.

FYI - timberwolves.com pulled the TV listings again (except for the WGN and NBATV games).

I checked the schedule earlier today and noticed the same thing, really wondering what the deal is. This is like the third time they have taken it down. I'm really hoping they figure this out by Wednesday.

Im a Kings fan and i honestly dont see how the Kings win this game without Evans. It's hard enough beating a team on their home opening night. Plus i dont really see Cousins dominating too many games during his rookie season.

How could you be a sad fan when your team is in such a good position for the future?
