I wouldn't be surprised if KG got minutes at C too, or even if he got many minutes at all. I think they're more interested in what he can contribute off the court than on it next season.

Yep, I think KG is on the 20 minutes every other game plan, no back to backs, etc... maybe 1000 minutes at PF/C

I hope that's not the case. Might as well sign Royce White to play only home games too. Maybe White, KG and Bjelica adds up to a good PF.

I don't know, if both KG and Pek are ever healthy at the same time it's almost too much. I think we could get away with alternating them.

Somebody must say it here :

Bjelica still hasn't proven nothing in the NBA, he hasn't more level than Kleiza when he arrived to the NBA and everybody can see where is Kleiza today.

Bjelica is a great player, a talented player with a great body but his weak point is his confidence. I've watched him many times in Spain from 2010 to 2013, and his performance wasn't the expected. Later he played well last two years in Turkey, specially the last season.

Many people here are saying he could be our PF backup but I think Flip must be very cautious with his role because he can affect to his confidence. For me Bjelica is better in the perimeter than near of the rim. Put him in the paint could be something stupid as put Durant in the Ibaka's position. I hope Flip will consider it and will guess with his position and his role.

Bjelica and Bazz can switch positions on offense and defense. I think his fit with the team is the last thing you'll worry about.

I gotta say I'm not as high on Bjelica as some of my fellow European fans when it comes to him playing in the NBA. He's an excellent basketball player but it may take a while for him to find his niche in this league. You've seen what it took Diaw to find his place and Bjelica is a guy with quite a few similarities, although he's got the advantage of being taller, leaner and a bit more athletic, which will help him on offense (on the other hand, Diaw has become a very capable defender under Pop, an area where Bjelica will likely struggle).

Having said that, 4M-5M a season is a reasonable deal considering how the salary cap is going to rise over the next few summers. The only downside that I find is the fact that getting him to come over will prevent us from going after some other veterans this summer, and we really need another couple of seasoned guys that can help solidify this team full of youngsters and get some extra wins next season.

Story says that Knicks are pursuing a S/T for Bjelica. They have NOTHING to offer. If this happens, my guess is that Flip really didn't want him, which was rumored until the last couple of days, and we're basically moving him for some second round picks.

I supposed could also be used as bait to move Bennett, which would also make me sad. Basically moving an asset to save money, but I guess easy for me to say since it's not my money.

It's not the first time we've heard about the Knicks pursuing someone without the assets to back it up.

Bjelica + bazz or lavine + an unprotected 1st rounder for Porzingis.

Hahaha or a player not wanting to play in Minny! Zing!!!

No, really though our media creates a lot of stories and runs with them. Not sure on this one, but usually that's the case.

From the vids I've seen, he needs to get in the weight room.

It's weird to see someone at his age and level of play with no muscle definition. Just makes it seem like he isn't working as hard as he could be off the court. I'd be interested to see his on court improvements if he did a program like Bazz last summer.

Pffft.

Just wait for the Knicks to f*ck up the first 2-3 years of his career and get him for pennies on the dollar. The odds are stacked against Porz succeeding in a place like New York with the (unfair) pressure they will put on him to be good right away.

No reason to pay so much. Get him cheap once NY has moved onto something else shiny and wants to unload him.

If we are looking to trade him I would go to Atlanta and offer a swap of draft right for Tavares. Bjelica is probably more ready to contribute on that team, and Tavares would probably have a better opportunity to grow here with the young core.

I think I would do that trade.Ideally I would rather do something like Bjelica+Bennet and 1st for Porzingis or even throw someone like Pek to get a deal done. Not to high on trading Muhammad or LaVaine for Porzingis but if push can to shove and all the hype around Porzingis is true and he could become a possible Dirk like player you pull the trigger.

A big three of Wiggins,Towns and Porzingis would be scary and a title winning team if all could reach or get close to their potential.

Rubio/Jones
Martin/LaVaine
Wiggins/Muhammad
KG/Porzingis
Towns/Dieng

thats a hell of a line up and ten deep

Bjelica comes over, I like the T-Wolves off season... going to be exciting times in Minny

I would not be shocked to see the Knicks offer Grant for him? But I think Minny should hold on to him. I just hope he comes over and plays finaly.

Id be curious to see what players on the Wolves could achieve what Bjelica has in the Euro league. I had always figured his size and balls handling skills would be good for us, however, I guess Flip does not see it that way. Right now a future asset is what we must be after.

Meh, Lavine and Bazz have shown they can play at the NBA level. Porz is hype right now until he proves he can play at the NBA level. Most people think that will take at least a few years of struggling first.

Let NY pay to develop him, don't give them a player that has proven they can play at the NBA level and still have a lot of room before their reach their ceiling, just so you can develop Porz for 2-3 years hoping he is legit.

Let Lavine and Bazz become solid players for the Wolves and pick up Porz 2-3 years down the road when the shine has worn off.
