I watched one game. They didn't show Andrew's screen, but he went 50-20 on domination, I think Karl was like 30-27 or something. I think Karl would be a really good streamer, but that should have been obvious, his personality just shines.

I've been XCOM fan since very beginning :) Firaxis did good job this series is awesome. I haven't played XCOM2 because I changed my Windows laptop to Macbook, however all reviews are positive. You probably should wait until they fix some annoying bugs, but overall great game!

I am also very exited for XCOM 2. But also intimidated, it seems like their upped that game to 12, lots of new stuff. Will pick up sooner or later tho.

Is it just me or does the kid on the right look like he could be Andrew Wiggins' brother? His smile is really similar, WTF.

If he can act he needs to play Wiggins in a movie haha.

Started playing Alan Wake since it backwards compatible with X1 now. I'm digging it, kind of reminds me of Deadly Premonition.

This is a weird time for me. I'm still on the 360, but with the news coming down last month that 360 production has been discontinued, it makes me wonder what I should do next.

I've never been a hardcore gamer. Give me 2k and Madden and I'm happy. And I've never played online. I have XBox Live, but only for roster updates and such. I've started to notice though that those 360 games don't come with all the features you'd get on XBox 1 or PS4, 2k MyPlayer being the most obvious example. It's there, but it's a stripped-down version.

But is that really enough for me to warrant paying the $300 or so to upgrade to a newer console? And who knows, it could only be a couple years before those consoles become obsolete. I've also been reading some pretty negative reviews about both of the new consoles.

Help!

I'd get the xbox one, Klomp. You can watch netflix, browse the internet, all kinds of stuff. It isn't just for gaming, or at least, it doesn't have to be just for gaming.

I've enjoyed my xbox one quite a bit. Been playing battlefield and destiny mostly. Good games.

I'm especially hyped about the PC release of Total War Warhammer tomorrow. I'm going to lose what little social life I have.

PS4 does all of that stuff too, but has the better lineup of exclusives. That's really the way to decide on modern consoles. The graphics and performance are going to be very comparable.

1. If you plan on playing online with friends, what do they have?
2. Look at the lists of exclusives and pick which one is better.

What do you mean by exclusives?

Games that only come out on one console. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_game_exclusives_%28eighth_generation%29

Your main ones for XBone are going to be Titanfall, Dead Rising, Forza, Gears of War, Halo, and recently Quantum Break. PS4 has Uncharted, Gran Turismo, Ace Combat, Last of Us, Little Big Planet, MLB: The Show, and Final Fantasy. That link has the full list for all 3 consoles. Here's an abridged version if that's too much for you: http://www.techtimes.com/articles/143635/20160324/the-complete-list-of-every-major-playstation-4-and-xbox-one-exclusives.htm

Yeah, I probably won't care about most of those. I'm pretty boring...give me Madden and 2k and I'm happy.

I'll probably stick with Xbox because it's all I've really known. I don't like to take risks and try new things, especially when it costs hundreds of dollars.

I'd get PS4 but all I ever play is 2k, Madden, and StarWars Battlefront anyways.

This is going to sound a bit lame, but it is almost worth saving up extra money to buy a solid PC for 800 dollars. It is a bit steep, but games generally become substantially cheaper on PC (NBA 2K16 can be purchased for thirty bucks most of the times when on sale), concerns with backward compatibility are, for the most part, nonexistent, if you play basic games the PC does not become as obsolete, the game variety is far better, a new computer improves browsing speed, and a simple HDMI hook-up can project the image on your television.

The main drawbacks are the price (though it is not excessively bigger of a price), and the initial set-up is less convenient (though being much more convenient down the line).

Yeah started on FM 06 or 05, one of those two.

Go through phases where I can't be bothered and don't touch it for months to absolutely slamming it. Currently slamming it after about 6 months of not going near it haha, just started a save as AFC Wimbledon, promoted in the first season 8-)
