I had courtside seats last night dude. All of these things are even worse/more evident up close.

I'd say he put a hand up on about a third of the plays. Z-Bo was NOT that beastly on offense, IMO. He just had a ton of uncontested shots.

quick rundown:

Beasley's been good, but I don't think his impact varies much if any from Jefferson.
Darko is what he's always been
Webster's useless
Flynn might be the worst draft pick in Wolves history
Ridnour is just a random
Tolliver hustles sometimes
Wes Johnson is a rookie thats the old enough to be entering his prime right now
Ellington has an occasional good game but we could've done better
Hayward is supposed to be polished, he's not
His drafts have been terrible so far, I don't know how else to look at it.

the team is definitely longer and more athletic. Still terrible though. I don't dislike Kahn at all, but I think his drafts have hurt the team big time. How many draft picks does it take to find just 1 consistent starter on a bad team? Thats horrible that we're starting guys like Brewer and Ridnour because our top 10 draft picks can't beat them out of a job.

somebody's gotta pay for this mess soon, either Rambis or Kahn

if not fired, at least tarred and feathered to let them know they're on notice

Not might, it will because of the number of non-patient pessimistic fans.

I'm going to take this rant a little different direction.

1. Telfair and Hayward - when Pek is working his butt off to post his guy up, you need to feed him the ball. It is not right for someone to be working that hard, and have it go for naught because you'd rather make an easier pass to some guy on the perimeter whos going to brick another outside shot.
2. Beasley - when someone takes a shot, it is helpful if you find a guy on the opposing team and get between him and the basket. It seriously does no good to just stand there flatfooted and look up at the rim.
3. Darko - Pek has been way outplaying you lately. Get some aggressiveness and confidence or get off the court.
4. Beasley - How about a little activity and effort on defense? The big afro makes it so much easier for me to spot you on the floor and see how little effort you are giving. At least before my eyesight wasn't immediately attracted to your defensive effort.
5. Ellington - How about making some shots once in a while when the game still matters
6. Johnson - Come on and develop already so we can either trade Beasley in the off-season or move him to a sixth man role
7. Brewer - Come and get your damn goat - its eating my couch cushions

This team will always be a laughingstock as long as Taylor owns it. He's been the only constant through both McHale's and Kahn's regimes. He always picked the wrong guy and will continue doing so, cause he's clueless himself.

The only thing that makes me less annoyed right now is Devilz's Voltron avatar. But even that has limits.

Over at Canis Hoopus, a commenter said they don't blame Taylor for not spending $$$ right before a change in the CBA. I thought that was very interesting. I even find myself hoping, however unrealistic it may be, that Taylor has been thinking along those lines for quite some time---that, in fact, his hire of a bean counter for a GM was due in large part to the existing labor situation (including his own experiences with contracts). Is it possible he'll reopen the pocketbook once a new CBA is in place?

Yeah, yeah, I'm likely grasping at straws here...I'm struggling with post-trade deadline letdown. :-? I'm bracing myself for Clippergeddon, then hopefully a fresh start.

I would appreciate it if all the keys on my keyboard would work. Without most of the bottom row of keys, as well as all arrows except up, comma, period, space bar, etc.... GRRRR!

If we're going to be successful as a team we can't keep feeding Darko and having his dumbass lose the ball.

Keepers on the team: Love, Ridnour, Wes J, maybe Beasley
People that have to go or get a reduced role: Darko, Flynn. It's just so painful to see those guys throwing the ball across the court like it doesn't matter. Value the damn basketball, there's no excuses for all the turnovers these guys average especially when they aren't even touching the ball that much.

We should've freakin kept Al Jefferson and played him as a C. He didn't have a great year last season but he's almost back to his usual self right now from what you hear from Utah's fans.
