Nice. I'm not too surprised that it happened because I checked spaceweather.com the other day and the graphic showed some heavy activity over Northern America while it was rather lame here.

But the other day there was a very intense one here for a good 5 minute span with several colors. It was great to see.

The "Most Heartbreaking Moment" thread on the Gen board had me thinking.

Some people have wondered about whether or not KG would want to come back for a jersey retirement ceremony, but I got to thinking. I think it would be kind of cool to see the #2 and #21 jerseys hanging next to each other in the rafters because of how close those two were.

That would be a cool thing to do and if they framed it like that to KG he would probably come back for it

My coworker just told me the town I work in was hit by a blizzard. 15 inches of snow in one night and I'm 2000 miles away. *sigh*

In Norway people commute with private airplanes and helicopters.

True Story.

My coworker is flying out of the Twin Cities on Saturday for a 2 wek trip to the Yucatan. He's driving down on Friday and is going to the opener that night. I don't know which part of that I hate him more over.

Minnesota’s Starting 5

Rubio was drafted 5th while the majority of experts believed he should have gone as high as 3rd. http://www.nba.com/2009/news/features/06/10/consensus/index.html.

Roy - Does it really matter what I say here? He's an established veteran and fills a need.

Batum was the primary target this off season. Kirilenko was the consolation prize.

Kevin Love was acquired because Memphis overpaid for OJ Mayo

Pekovic was considered to be talented enough to be in the lottery, but was drafted 31st by Minnesota because he had contract issues.

Consider the team used valuable draft picks on Flynn (6th) and Johnson (4th). Williams (2nd) was drafted over Kanter, Vesely, and Valanciunas.

I wrote this post on Word for that thread. Didn't even realize it was locked until I tried to submit it.

God, that thread was incredibly moronic, even considering the typical garbage that is spawned on the general board.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Turbozone is amazing. My favorite one is the "Toronto streetworkers paint snow green to trick Free Agents".

It would be awesome if the Wolves changed their name to the Tall Blacks.

I looked up their roster, and it was like ... ohhhh that's where that guy ended up. I assumed he retired. Wow, you even got Aaron Gray too?

I don't post very often at all, but read the forums everyday for my daily fix (lately, been lurking Rubechat... /cringe)

Just poppin' in to say thanks all for being involved and making following sports more than just watching the game. I've learned so much on here.

I recently moved from MN to Atlanta in 2011, and holy hell... I miss my Eden(Prairie), and just Minnesota in general. Any new joints or places to go come up in the passed year? I heard Lola off of Xerxes is a can't miss.
