I don't know how much you guys like post-hardcore/metal music, but I was listening to an album from Blessthefall the other day and the album started off with this track. I think this would be perfect for soundtrack a highlight video for the Timberwolves.

I honestly don't know why there aren't more highlight mixes with this kind of music. The breakdowns, drops and impact points are perfect for a sports montage. I also thought the whole "We're not dead" aspect from the intro fit in nicely with this team, especially.

Maybe someone with video editing skills could think about it? It would be so sick.

(I would've already made a video with this song if I knew how :-? )

Don't know if this is the place to put these or if they're old news,
but I haven't laughed so hard in a long time as I did watching these.
But then again I'm a bit warped. Watch them all the way through.

So there might actually be someone on this board who knows where my name comes from? I've gotten more Tom Petty references than whatever-CORE references. I also like to give the "breakdown" as to what we've all just witnessed, like the wannabe commentator that I am.

Beards Beards Beards

Post#29 » by Vindicater » Fri Apr 20, 2012 2:31 am

Thought this might cheer some of you guys up :)

Local band from South Australia, great to see live.

Seems to fit our group of players... hopefully Kevin Love ditches the mustache look and goes back to his beards once he sees this (I have a suspicion he is a realgm follower!)

This music is horrible...

Just utter rubbage thrown together and loud for the sake of 12-15 year angst ridden boys.

Now if you want some real Metal, go for some Pantera or Black Dahlia Murder

I just love the guys shirt with a lumberjack punching a grizzly in the face... Somone should find that and put Pekovics face on it for the next memphis game thread.

Relax Vin. I just thought it was something I'd suggest because it would fit well with highlights from this season.

I'm not 12-15. I'm a musician and I enjoy playing this type of music.

I'm not going to waste my time to debate the merits of music with you because it's not about that. I'm sure you could find better things to do with that time than blast my post.

And this is why you should not post while drunk.

I apologise, I was out of line.

Yeah, it's great. Just like the mix. I still remember these games against the Spurs and Kings in January when Pek was clowning them inside. It was probably my favorite stretch of the season.
