Jacked biceps? Really? Of all the female-friendly assets Ricky has, they pick jacked biceps?

Maybe females think biceps are something else entirely.

DO YOU WANT MY SIGNED T-SHIRT?

Hi everybody, how are you? First of all I would like to thank you all for your support messages, they are helping me so much in this recovery stage and they are making me stronger every day. To thank you all your support I have decided to make a new contest to give you my signed t-shirt.

To take part in the contest you have to:

1. Record a video shooting free throws as I do in the video. You must be seated in a chair and at the same distance.
2. Send us the video at this e-mail address concursos@rickyrubio9.com or upload it yourself at Youtube and send us the video address.
3. If you score 15 or more baskets you will enter in the contest of my signed t-shirt.
4. Come on, I am waiting for your videos. You can send them us until 3rd of June.

If you want, you can!! #bepositive

I'm sorry, but what is the point of Rubio shooting free throws sitting down? I honestly don't know the answer, but IMO isn't shooting all about legs while the hands/arms just provide guidance?

I'm a good shooter (by my standards lol) and when I shoot free throws, the legs provide the most when I want to consistently make free throws.

I hope he's only doing this for the contest's sake, but i'm glad that he's not even letting that big boot stop him from being on the court.

I just want to know if shooting while sitting is actually helping his game or not?

Agreed. My couch always said that shooting range it's all about legs.
In the chair-time it could help to keep his touch and feelings with the ball.

His leg is in a cast. What else is he supposed to do?

Not shoot. Makes no sense.

Dribbling while sitting I can understand, shooting while sitting down serves no purpose, not even for muscle memory. Takes too much effort from the upper body to shoot a shot sitting down.

Why shoot them if that's not what you're going to do in a game situation?

I may be nitpicking and it could actually serve a purpose, i'm not trying to be an ass I just want to know what he's doing that for if anyone knows.

Wouldn't it help with upper body form, which is what many say Ricky needs to work on?

Agreed. I assumed he was just having some fun. It's not like these guys have to be training 24-7.

Thats a textbook training drilll to improve touch, elevation, and timing of release for your shot. From that distance it is not a difficult shot and doesn't require much effort, you just need to make sure you follow through, get the ball up, and use your touch for rotation. The legs are only meant for power and balance. The arms are the guide. This is a great drill for shooting floaters as well. Emphasis on touch. I do this workout, and one handed shots to warm up everyday.

Ricky's Interview at Spanish radio. Basically :

He is in Colorado for a medical check. Doctor said him all goes well.

He started to walk and put the feet on the floor without crutches. He didn't walk in six weeks and he has forgotten how walk. Now he already can walk short distances without crutches (open the door, go to the bath, etc)

Recovery Timeline : No timeline. Month by month with little targets. Now he can extend and flex the leg. He can start to go to the swimming pool and walk on a special treadmill.

He had short moments of depression when he watched soccer players who relapsed with the same injury, but he continues being positive.

He will watch the European Final Four this weekend (Barça will be there 8-) .

He has the next medical check at June 19. The first months are very important in this kind of injuries. He wants return to Spain if all goes well and Minnesota approves it.
