Rick says he decided to play JJ the whole game. Lee was sick earlier and threw up. Rick asked JJ if he could handle the whole game and JJ said yea so Rick went with him.

I can see why. Their scrubs and young kids just punked us. We let a bunch of rookies kick us out of our home. :nonono:

And the warriors were on the third game of b2b2b.

Randolph is still dumb as a rock, I can see why you guys we'll probably cut your ties with him.

Thanks for the update. Probably should have given Ellington some minutes at point guard.

Jon Krawczynski ‏ @APkrawczynski
JJ Barea absolutely lit up the Wolves. Said too many in locker room didn't care. Barea: "We got problems here. We got a lot of guys that don't care. ... We're just going to keep Ls til we get players here that care." Barea says #TWolves will keep losing "until we get players that care about winning, care about the team, care about the fans." Barea expects big changes: "That's up to mgmt. We just don't care. We just come in after a game like nothing happened."

Glad somebody in the locker room was saying it.

Man, nobody can top us in blowing big leads in the second half. Nobody.

Best part of the game was when AR was shown on the big screen, a 5-7 year old sitting behind me said, "Aww he looks sad."

Heartless and as I suspected mentally weak team.

We also have too many guys that play dumb, and JJ is one of them. We had a shot to win it still before he decided to try to thread the needle between three defenders and turn it over.

Edit:

With that said, I would guess that the "don't care" brigade are:

Darko - Competely done here.
Beasley - RFA and on his way out.
Webster - Non-guaranteed contract and on his way out.
Wes - Should be on his way out, but who knows.
Williams - Who know? Hopefully getting rid of the other guys would improve his attitude.

Edit 2:

Tolliver and Randolph might fit on the list, too. Tolliver works and plays hard out there, but I get the feeling that he's "okay" with losing, and Randolph seems like he dislikes losing but doesn't really do anything about it.

Another thing though. JJ is coming from the Dallas Mavericks. He has grown up in the NBA with a winning team. The wolves have been bums and punks for over half a decade. He just may not be accustomed to seeing this. I'm sure much of the same body language he saw today, we have been doing for years. Wolves are used to losing and they can take it in stride. JJ probably hasn't seen that before.

I'm just sick of Barea. He has the mentality that he's Michael Jordan. He's a 5'8 slow, unathletic SG who has no idea what running a team actually is or how to play defense without flopping. Half the time, he doesn't hustle back on defense after missing a shot or turning it over. He's a chucker. He's like the miniature Puerto Rican version of Allen Iverson, only nowhere nearly as good. Too many turnovers.

Many Mavs fans were happy when he left. He had 2 good games in the Finals that made everyone think he's so awesome.

When we first signed him, I thought it would be a huge pick-up, but he's been pretty bad for the most part. And I truly hope no one replies to me saying "look at his numbers the last month." Because I will reply, "Look at the W/L record with him as the starter." I know he's been forced into a role that doesn't suit him, but he just hasn't been a good fit. Maybe he can fill the role he's accustomed to next year if Rubio's healthy and if they add a real SG. But I just don't think JJ fits here.

Many might still mean the minority because watching the Mavs ring ceremony, he got the second best ovation of the night (first being Dirk obviously), and Carlisle himself admitted he put a lot of butts on seats.

Anyway, this team packed it in a long time ago, and obviously Barea, not liking what he sees, is going to call them out. If you want to be succesful, first thing you got to have is a positive mind, followed by hard work. This team is young and can be great, but they have to shake off the losing mentality the Wolves have had for years.
