Oh damn. That's hard to look at. Reminds me of Joe Theisman.

I don't know about that. Theisman's leg bent where there was no joint.

Well, yeah, it just reminded me of that. It's painful to see a leg turn 90 degrees sideways joint or not.

Mike Shanahan would've had him walk it off.

Hard to believe he just had an ACL tear with that. Ricky's leg doesn't even bend and he tears his ACL and LCL.

I blame RCG. His being a Wolves fan with a Kentucky avatar is the only possible link between the Wolves' injuries and Noel that I can find. :D

Ford talked about how Noel most likely won't be the #1 pick now. Lets hope he falls a bit!

i doubt he will enter the draft now. he could very well stay in college for another two years to get his stock and health up.

I don't see it. He'd be ready by October. He'd miss some rookie stuff but at this point he's shown what he can do. And this is the draft to declare. Before the injury it was basically Noel or McLemore. I don't think he drops too far and next year he'd be competing with Wiggins, Parker, Harrisons, etc.

isnt a torn acl a major injury tho? his game is mostly based on athleticism so wouldnt the injury affect him?

From all accounts its not going to be a reoccurring injury and he will be the same player he was once it heals.

With the Wolves on a constant free fall right now, we are only 3 games behind Phoenix for a top 5 lottery spot... Pretty crazy

So I'm gonna be payin more attention to the draft prospects. Thoughts on Shabazz? He seems like a more realistic get then Mclemore at the moment. From watching a couple full game highlights of him, the main thing i notice is he moves very well without the ball.

The end of that game is all I need to see to have him drop towards the bottom of my "wish list"...

I really like what I'm seeing from Victor Oladipo. Crazy athleticism and tenacious defender. Imagine Rubio-Oladipo-Kirilenko together. Lockdown defence. He is also a great rebounder and would make us really difficult to beat down the stretch, with quick-moving defenders, constant offensive rebounds and plenty of FT shots. Potential to be a great slasher that we need, and has improved his jump shot a lot. Seems like a great kid from the different interviews with him as well.

Yeah, Oladipo would be nice. Like I said in the Pick Watch thread, these are the guys I'd target:

1. McLemore 2. Noel 3. Porter 4. Oladipo 5. McCollum 6. Muhammad 7. Len

Porter and Oladipo are pretty much 3A & 3B. Maybe I should switch him ahead because of his ability to play the 2 while Porter is a 3.

If we draft late (like 8th) and miss out on some of the more notable guys, I would consider trading down for Mason Plumlee. Before you get your pitchforks, I really want to draft the best prospect with our pick. If Plumlee slides, let’s see what other teams would offer for their pick.

Plumlee is a relatively safe option. Often you ask what skills will translate, and he can do a bit of everything. The guy is one of the best when it comes to finishing at the rim, rebounding, and getting to the free throw line.

There are weaknesses obviously. He lacks an outside game for example. Furthermore, he can’t really guard the perimeter despite being rather agile for a big man. A lot of people believe he's a tweener, but I don't think that's accurate. Just to clarify, I don't want him because he's a white guy that attends Duke.

He played more college games than Kyrie Irving.

I don't think his stock is going to drop at all.
