With that being said, if we continue to lose this season and pick (8-10) I'd seriously consider bringing in Willie Cauley-Stein. 7 footer, long, athletic, can rebound, block, and he can finish inside.

WCS/_______
Love/Williams
AK?
______/Shved
Rubio/Ridnour or Barea

I'd prefer Noel :P

I don't think we can play worse than the Kings, Wizards, Raps, Cavs, etc. :sigh: He's a beast though.

As long as Adelman's the coach here, I wouldn't expect Williams to be in front of Cunningham on the depth chart. And if Williams is behind Love and Cunningham, then I wouldn't expect him to be on the team at the start of next season.

Wisconsin just about to down Indiana. That's huge.

Turnovers really killed the Gophers. There were a lot of dumb passes late in the first and early in the second that really hurt.

The way we are looking right now we look like we have a real shot at getting a top 5 pick. Ben McLemore not only looks like the best player in the draft, to me, but he also looks like he fits not only our needs but our system. Then we can pray for some health next year. Just a perfect fit with our team. I do like Nerlens Noel and Cody Zeller, but I think both will have a couple years of serious adjustment to the NBA.

Here to the tank( if thats what you call sucking because of injuries) fellas..... :ouch:

Our "system" is only going to be around for one more year. Adelman probably won't re-sign with the Wolves.

So we should draft another Derrick Williams who doesn't fit?

Even if the system isn't around the stuff McLemore can bring off the ball are perfect for this team. Back door and baseline cuts, running off of screens, finishing above the rim, and spotting up for 3s on offense. I would hope we look for coaches who run similar offenses to what Adelman runs in the future.

The only thing from McLemore that I'm finding that I don't really like is that he has to be set up, he's not great at creating his own shot

Yeah, I really like his fit. Obviously not the "perfect" prospect, but very good.

I'd say, we cant have someone who cant create his shot, we have to have someone who creates for themselves and scores by himself, that's why I wanted us to get Jamal Crawford. We have no one who can go on fire and either cut the lead or up the lead. Portland is a great example, they have so many players who can hit threes back to back to back and change the game in a minute.

I'd be fine with any of: McLemore, Shabazz, Noel. Any of those guys would fill a huge need. Lets hope that Zeller, Len, Porter, Austin all have huge 2nd halves!

if my boy steven adams was likely to declare this year he'd be a great fit but i can't see him declaring, gonna be a hell of a defensive player imo...great size, length, athletics with a good motor, his ability to switch on the pick n roll, contain guards and get back is outstanding. he's best served spending another year or two at pitt so i hope he doesn't rush it.

These losses to the Wizards and Bobcats are very valuable. McLemore, Noel. I'm not sold on Shabazz, but I haven't watched him so I gotta see watch him before I judge him.

Yep, at least until the draft lottery, where we'll be projected at the 10th pick and somehow end up with the 25th.
