Delfino is nice scorer of the bench, who can shoot.

I liked both Daequan Cook and Cole Aldrich in their limited minutes on OKC.

And their rookies might surprise.

That said the Wolves with healthy Love/Rubio should be better. Without them, not so much.

Parsons is at best an average starter right now.

That said the only guy currently starting on the Rockets that would be a starter for the Timberwolves (once both Love & Rubio are back) is James Harden.

Lin is pretty terrible and I don't know if I would even pick him over Ridnour.
Kirilenko still should be a better player than Parsons.
The Asik/Pekovic matchup is in favour of Pekovic, too.
And Morris/Patterson? I don't think anybody of these two players would start as PF here even if Love is injuried.

Ok, maybe I'm a homer but I really can't see the Rockets winning anymore than 35 games max. And that is really genourous and assuming Harden plays like an absolute monster all season.

I'll venture to say you are. Parsons outplayed Budinger as a rookie. Lin is at the very least an average/competent point guard and I would definitely pick him over Luke. Asik is a DPOY level center, who is as much of a difference-maker on defense as Pek is on offense. And Harden is the best shooting guard in the league. Their bench is thin and their coach is suspect, but I'm pretty sure they will win over 40 games at worst and probably close to 45.

I think your overrating Harden and Asik. Harden is third best for me and Asik while very good isn't that good.

I'll take the under on that, thanks.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Maynor just hit a shot from 3 quarter court to tie the OKC v Spurs game. :o

If there was any way to get Kawhi Leonard to come here I would do it. I think hes gonna be the modern day Kirilenko.

Or for a cheaper option...Chris Singleton.

I'm puzzled, who do you rate higher than Harden?

Wade and Bryant, for starters

Wade I could give you, efficiency stats notwithstanding.

But Kobe? No, he's not even passing the eye test anymore and the stats are damning. Argument can be made that he's a net negative on the court at this point.

Just look at what happened to Harden in the finals when he was depended on to help lead his team, he failed like I've seen no one but Lebron fail. He is no where near Wade or Kobe's league.

Yeah, cause Kobe never failed on big stage. 2012 never happened. 2004. 2008.

Going by the highlights on nba.com Duncan looks like he's in his early 20's. That dunk on Ibaka...

Mcihael Kidd Gilchrist about to play. Really hope he can show that promise I saw in summer league. He looked like a monster, talking flashes of Skita level summer league play.

Crazy start, 37 and then 45?? It'll definitely be interesting to see how this plays out in Houston as they kinda figure things out (and other teams figure out how they're gonna play as well)

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
