“@JimPeteHoops: The best teams in the NBA shoot well from 3 pt range and at the rim. #Twolves are 30th in 3-point FG% at 29.6% and 27th at the rim 58.8%.”

That's pretty pathetic, particularly the at-the-rim numbers.

Well when you have Ridnour who can't make a lay-up and Barea who throws up prayers at the rim...
And we do have more put-back attempts with Love and Pek than the average team I would imagine.

The bigger concern for me is the 3-pt shooting. Although Shved has picked it up lately we need more consistency from all of our guys.

I think once Love rounds into form the number will go up a bit...and we really need to see Budinger back. Guys like Roy/Lee shot so bad early on for us...and Budinger wasn't shooting great from back there like he usually does. Rubio should even improve that number, sadly.

Well, GS is deeper and more balanced than us.

Yes we love Shved, DHam but we're not that deep,we're very thin actually in all positions wc results to a drag in energy in the second half recently.

So comparing us to GS would be unfair to them IMO.
And their young guys really stepped up bigtime
*ehemshvedrecentlyoffehemdwill*

We're still 2 to 3 trades or signings away from being a playoff team.
And im afraid Bud,Roy,Howard and Lee wont be our antidote when they get back.
And that we cant use the "wait till our players get back" reason anymore.

Every game counts in the West, and losing winnable games wont help us.

Unless Love and Rubio crank it up.

Best scenario for us would be an ugly dogfight for 7th and 8th seed.

We're impressive. But we're not there yet.

Full of potential. But that's about it..

Denver, Utah and Portland are getting their act together too. We're only one game off the bottom of our div.

Lakers are getting close in getting back Gasol and Nash and stringing some wins

Mavs are close also in getting back Dirk

Twolves are getting close in getting back....... Brandon Roy

I know its early in the season. But it's the west. Now everyone is fighting for the playoffs. Every win is important and is getting tighter each day. String some couple of losses and you dig a deep hole for yourself.

So is it time for Kahn to make his assesment of the team and make moves?

Offense is a big problem for us.
No one can make consistent jumpshots even if Rubio returns to 40 min PT form.
And there's our problem with three point shooting
And Budinger can only do some

Thunder are 12-0? Oh lawd!

On the other hand if we topple them it will be the best signature win of the year so far.

Well they are on the second night of a b2b. I say we can beat them if we play well.

I was hoping they would keep the streak going against the Hawks. Now there's a chance we could catch them napping and their streak is bound to end soon. If they had lost to the Hawks they would be a bit more fired up to get the W against us, IMO.

Hmm.durant and westbrook played 40 minutes and was basically durant and westbrook vs the hawks. Martin and Ibaka were off.

Could they be tired?
AK can somehow contain durant.
But who's gonna stop Westbrook? Ridnour? lol

13 straight winfor OKC or 13th win for us. Who's gonna be lucky 13?

Don't expect anything but a dribble penetration massacre leading to tons of easy points by Westbrook and/or Ibaka, Perkins, Collison and Durant at the rim. It'll be like that one Denver game but much worse.

Today the match begins soon: finally I can watch it with you guys, always a pleasure. And hollydays begin tomorrow.

Listen, Ibaka is, right now, overrated: people thinks he can shot middle range shots like KG, but he needs to be free of defenders, and his range is not so big for now: let's take advantage of it. The interior game of OKC is absolutely nule in attack. But they're awesome in defense. I mean AWESOME.

Our problem is Westbrook. What a player. If he begins like the other day against Spurs, we're dead. I think he did like 27 points/ 4 assists in the first half, or something as nasty as that. This year he's the best PG on the game, close with Chris Paul. AK is going to guard KD? I don't think we have a better defender for him. Perkins, thankfully, is the center with less resources to post, to shot, or to make any attempt to the ring, so Pekovic will be nice, I guess. Kevin Love can test himself against Ibaka, who's defense is better this year, Luke and Barea can show us the many ways Russel Westbrook can dunk and Shved the many ways you can defend the shooters of Oklahoma. When Ricky comes in, the defense is going to improve and hopefully the attack as well.

Today is a big day, against the better team of RS. So excited about it.

Chuck just said we got better upside than Dallas. He said at this point in their careers Love is better than Dirk and they got more potential.
