What do you guys think about the idea of trading pek?

It seems as though portland will do everything in their power to get him, and do we really wanna match whatever ridiculous contract they will throw at him?

Trading him for another young center that fits next to kevin or a promising young wing player + a pick would help us in the long run imo.

I think we should keep him. I still think a healthy frontcourt of Pek/Love/AK47 is pretty hard to stop.

Portland is going to have something in the neighborhood of $12M in cap space to throw at Pek, which is about what he is going to command anyway. I think Minny matches any offer unless it is a max deal.

How high do you think they will match? I'm thinking something in the neighborhood of 4/50 would be about as high as they would like to go but they might go a bit higher if pushed. I guess I should have said "close to a max".
